quite unlikely for a major patch for diablo since they didnt announce anything, i think they brought down the server to patch starcraft 2 only (a huge patch)

Blizzard thought it had defeated Activison. To ensure that Activison wouldn't corrupt the world anymore they merged with it, ramming the Activision stone into their forehead. Activision then corrupted Blizzard as we all know through Diablo 2.
