i chosen the last day of the month (30th) as the day to ensure the max warranty i can have. then i go by month. first i tried my luck on May
and obviously i got the msg "sorry we cannot bla...bla..bla.. please provide us proof of purchase bla..bla..bla.." 
then, i go down month by month, April>Mar>Feb>Jan, finally the warranty got registered on 30th January 2012 until 30th January 2013.
