Lowyat.NET 3DMark Top-20
LOW-END CATEGORY
Strictly 4-pipelines card (and below) only!

To eligible for the Top 20 list, you must have the following:
1) Futuremark ORB Compare Link
2) Details of your Benched System
3) Screenshot of your score (optional)
4) Only one score per user

* The reason why a Futuremark Compare Link is a prerequisite is to verify the validty of the score, not some photochopped screenies.

Also as suggested by some forumers in the previous thread, a Lowyat.NET 3DMark Team can be set up. so when you post your results on Futuremark, use the following format for your name. For eg, bwan would use:
[yourname] ** Lowyat.NET 3DMark Team **

Example of posting layout :
QUOTE
3DMark01SE : <score, linked to Futuremark ORB compare link>

3DMark03 : <score, linked to Futuremark ORB compare link>

3DMark05 : <score, linked to Futuremark ORB compare link>

where did you buy your card because now 128bit card is hard to find. most shops are selling 64bit versions.

First , welcome those people come to my thread....
Second , If I Open At Wrong Section , moderator please kindly remove/delete it

This Is The Spec Of My PC

AMD AlthonXP 1800+ (133x11.5 , palomino core) din't oc
MSI K7N2 Delta-L (NForce2 Ultra400 Chipset)
Kingston 256MB DDR400 Value Ram (din't got 2 x ram to run dual channel T.T)
Creative Radeon 9550XT(128MB,128bit , 464/608)(windows detected it as 9600XT)
Samsung 20GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive (ATA100)

Microsoft Windows XP SP2
ATI Catalyst 6.14
3D Mark 2001SE Build330

Setting = 1024x768 32bit
Score = 10522

Are This Score Normal ?

Oh Ya ! My GC Default Speed Is 400/600
i can succesfully oc it until 500/700 , but ...after oc to tat speed , me can't succesfully run 3dmark , why T.T?

And i tried to oc my cpu , default is 133x11.5
i tried to oc 13X x 11.5 , after that ....my pc sure always hang lolx !!!
hows come T.T?

my cpu not really hot as well (after oc to 140 x 11.5) .....idle = 4X Celcius , processing = 5X Celcius
aren't my cpu no really good for oc ? (cos using palomino core)

anything hangs after overclocking means that the hardware setting is not stable

overclocking doesnt mean anything if it's not stable to run at least a few light applications.

to know how to overclock the right way, kindly read the pinned threads about Fundamental of Overclocking

Honestly....your processor is too slow. Take a barton OC it to 2.2-2.4ghz..you will get around 13-14k for your 9550XT.

Your score is low cause you are CPU limited. 3dmark01se is CPU dependent. My Winchester @ 2.4 with 9550 @ 400/500 could get 14k.

@Yapmy

i believe your card have been softmod 8 pipeline because there is no way a 4 pipe 6200 at 300/500 to get that kind of score. so you are not allowed to post your score here. please refer to the first post. smile.gif

Strictly 4-pipelines card (and below) only!

@tAmp0i

have the rules been changed? refering to the first post, it is compulsory to include an ORB link for your score to be verified. but lately i've seen people posting results only with screenies.

Maybe a screenie of Rivatuner and a valid ORB link would help?

And i need suggestion here, would it be necessary to delete non ORB link results....? unsure.gif

nah...just leave it laa. i find most people use an *ahem* version of 3dmark and they would have problems to upload the scores. so maybe u can accept screenies.

but make sure you check the scores throughly though. as you can see, some people came here to see what others are able to achive with their cards. so let say someone posted a score with a softmoded 6200 and get some ubber score. then someone else came here with a normal 6200 use that as a reference. he may think that there is something wrong with his/her card because there is no way that he can get the same score with same setup. (look at Yapmy score, thats a softmoded 6200. a normal 6200 have to be OCed to around 450/700 to get that kind of score.) "sorry Yapmy. this is just an example smile.gif "

so the conclusion is you can use screenie but you have to be more cautious when accepting them. maybe they need to include system spec with screenies for reference. thumbup.gif

example:

3DMark03 Screenie (Use thumbnail please!)

imho....i think from now on the rules should be...

1) Futuremark ORB Compare Link (aka only ORI free version, non*ahem* version, so cannot change settings)
2) Details of your Benched System
3) Screenshot of your score together with a screenshot of RivaTuner - in ONE screen (to ensure theres not more than 4 pipes for unlockable cards) COMPULSORY
4) Only one score per user

as for the currect scores...leave it alone ler... unless u find a valid one that can replace it.

exactly! which, if i remember correctly, is exactly the reason why they started with the ORB link rule.

so u know that the free version works....so why bother cra*king it?

dissapointed d word that i can use... http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=274605&hl=

QUOTE

It say that 6200 is capable of SM3.0 but just there is some missing selectable option characteristics of SM3.0 in 6200, thus Futuremark dont put SM3 beachmark on 6200.

But according to the article, many people argue for such decision made by Futuremark.

this is mine. albatron geforce fx 5700U3 volt mod. this is 2 years old card. my system also is 3 years old. lazy to do clean installation. just to assure how much this card can do. manage to do 610/1118 mhz on core and memory. i think that's the max. here the orb.

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8975469

oh yes, forgot to mention, the 3dmark01 orb is done at lower clock speed (but similar core and mem voltage) due to driver isue ( i think sweat.gif )

P4 3.0Ghz@default (presscot)
1024 pc3200 kingston value ram (single channel)
albatron geforcefx 5700U3 @ 610/1118 (default 475/950)
albatron 865PE/PE pro v2.0
detonator 84.21

p/s: although it's an old card, it oc capability is unbelievable. shocking.gif

ya.. i know that. just OC suka-suka only. not really eager to challenge top 20 here. biggrin.gif actually all i need is just one more ddr 400 ram to run double channel on my machine.then i can enter the 3DMark2001SE table. rclxms.gif maybe my 3rdmark2001SE will be over 15K. with clean installation and a lil bit of OC on my cpu i think i can get 15K. but thanks for update the 3Dmark03 table for me. anyone on the list volt mod their card?

Do you mean you want to download 3DMark2001? Or there's error on your 3DMark05? Run it as free version and you'll get to publish the score online
