LED light sure make me drools...
but for diy, the cost is too much.. the LED itself cost a bomb. not to mention a nice diy acrylic stand... |

QUOTE(weijie @ Jul 6 2012, 10:40 AM) if you can spend Rm200 for scissor or lily pipe, why not Rm400 for LED light set? i dont have those high end accessories.LED lifespan is 50000hours. consider you using 10hours per day, it last 5000days, which is 14years. WITHOUT CHANGING BULB or worry that color temperature will run ! about those lifespan you mention, i have my doubt about it.. did they really test the light for 50000hrs??? |

QUOTE(Goldiger79 @ Jul 13 2012, 09:41 AM) @flipmode, I want to make a tank like yours. But I want use soil outside the stone, plant hc or glosso. Inside I want to make a big forest of flame moss. If I follow your stone placement but make round shape, what should I put inside for flame moss? Since flame moss dont require soil to grow, what to put inside? why you want to put something inside the moss???its better for you to put all soil instead of make an island for that. 1. the green algae problem 2. the mix up between the sand and soil. just my humble opinion |
