SOUNDSTAGE is OMG WUD? Disclaimer: I'm too fond of IEM, so maybe I feel that way due to the more "openness" of headphones, but... It's wide, but that's not the selling point. IT'S really layered. Like, in "You Give Love a Bad Name" (Bad pick of song? Haha. I guess so, but I like this track), you really feel the layering of drums, other instruments and also Jon Bon Jovi's voice. Everything is arranged more orderly. 2. JUMBO BA-esq sound is like HEAVEN 6 MAGNIFIED You will feel that the BA driver is the star, and the dynamic driver is the supporting cast, the Robin. The BA sounds so huge (i mean, it sounds so close to Heaven 6, the difference is that the sound "feels" bigger). Detail? Check! Treble? Refined. Mids? So beautiful! Bass? Err...Can we skip the bass, please? Clarity? Eyes wide opened! Do I like it? Man, I pre-ordered it, so there's definitely BIAS when I answer that I really freakin' like it. Well, you may find your reason to not like it. To me, as I was listening to PH6, I was thinking, why not more headphones install BA driver now? It's really a whole new world of sound to my ears. Haha, same with you, i pre-ordered the headphone, waiting it to arrive asap!

Enthusiast Senior Member 706 posts Joined: Sep 2012	The good feature about Hippo VB as you can adjust the bass around to suit your taste and different music genre. Direct competing is pretty hard as VB doesn't have a fix signature due to the bass changeable. Heaven II has great tonality for Vocal, classical, instrument while Adagio II has great punch and impact on bass.

So, I believe FAD Adiago II & III or Heaven II would may b suit me.. I trust my ear Then i believe Adagio II or III will suit your taste. Give a try on Beyerdynamic MMX102 and JVC FTX90, they are great =)

Definitely a fan of FAD right now.. Man that some powerful sorcery at play here. Yea it is how the founder keep on emphasise the idea of his sound tuning, i met him once in Malaysia, amazing guy and he explained to us what is the concept behind, hence comes the analog crossover he is doing for all FAD series (Before he pass away). FAD doesn't have the most accurate, detail or transparency you can find in lots of high end IEM, however there is magic inside to keep you listening without getting off.

X-CC has warmer and mellow sound comparing with VIII, which is more on general side, but it is good enough for me currently.
