Anyone ever do a comparative review among each other? Like Heaven II vs IV vs V vs VI
*
Yeap, i tried them all before, but too bad i couldn't get out a review on them.
all of them sharing the same signature, but with improvement on each model, you get the basic of Heaven II, then the optimum of Heaven VI, with improved on every aspect that existing in Heaven II.

yeap, Heaven S is considered quite aggressive in term of all frequency spectrum.

If you want a much laidback sound, try the Heaven VI

Heaven series is the less polarized audio playback gear among the FAD lineup as they sound more "conventional". However, in describing FAD products, the usual "bass, mids, treble, s-stage" don't really make sense lol (usually sucks on most account, and they are tuned "by-ear"). Glad you enjoyed the "euphonic" moment!
Which means Lab1 doesn't really wow you? I feel the Lab1 is very close to the FI-BA-SS, without the rough edges and rounder bass impact. Perhaps these Heaven 7/8 are not 3-D printed, and being mass produced to be more widely available (since Lab1 is limited to 150 pieces I heard). Sadly, I do hope those are r-type so that they have longer lifespan (to replace the cables).
At first most people was like "what kind of design is that?", and I was thinking is that something to fight the Beats? But slowly everyone's cool with it I guess, when the music is turned on  brows.gif

They are Heaven7/8, releasing soon maybe on next couple of months.

No they are not 3D printing like the Lab 1, according to them, the 3D printing concept from Lab 1 caused them so much problem in the production line, so they got no choice by not maintaining the Lab 1 model.

The good feature about Hippo VB as you can adjust the bass around to suit your taste and different music genre. Direct competing is pretty hard as VB doesn't have a fix signature due to the bass changeable.

Heaven II has great tonality for Vocal, classical, instrument while Adagio II has great punch and impact on bass.

Although Hippo VB can adjust variation bass, but 2 yrs I used is never change bass node (2 yrs ady oso use no dot bass note which is the most heavy bass) to listen genre music i have state above.. haha. So, I believe FAD Adiago II & III or Heaven II would may b suit me.. I trust my ear tongue.gif

Then i believe Adagio II or III will suit your taste.
Give a try on Beyerdynamic MMX102 and JVC FTX90, they are great =)

Haha~

Adagio II & III the bass too punchy too wide for me... not solid and precise enough, details and treble is ok.

Sony XBA-H1 the bass solid and precise but less a bit on treble and details on the sound.

I prefer (solid and precise bass most likely Sony XBA-H1; the treble and details most likely with FAD Heaven II) = FAD Heaven IV.

I'm in love with it, but too bad is over my budget~ sob sob... (determine to save money for have 1, hmmm)

Now I really believe Lego Warfare and un_id said... once down the audio pit of no return; will never be in peace again.. your ears will be a fat scumbag, want to eat more and more.. oh gosh.. Kena poison ady~~~~

It can be good or bad, flat cable provides better durability and tangle-free?

Last Saturday in Tokyo I went to Nakano Broadway and get a chance to mini audition FAD Heaven VI. I only have music on my Spotify (not my usual list) and fire my reggae palylist.

I can't stop tapping my foot and bobbing my head. It's that enjoyable. My God! The custom iem I tried at eEarphone that worth 4-5k gave music greater transparency and sense of space but this is different.  I can't stop to think, just transported to different dimension and enjoying the music to its  fullest.

Too bad it's the last day and I need to go to airport already. Definitely a fan of FAD right now..

Man that some powerful sorcery at play here.
*
Yea it is how the founder keep on emphasise the idea of his sound tuning, i met him once in Malaysia, amazing guy and he explained to us what is the concept behind, hence comes the analog crossover he is doing for all FAD series (Before he pass away).

FAD doesn't have the most accurate, detail or transparency you can find in lots of high end IEM, however there is magic inside to keep you listening without getting off.

HI, there.
It quite a silent here.
I found some interesting deal.
The price is quite nice for heaven VII and VIII.
Is anyone here have any comment about these 2?

From my experience VII and VIII has two different signature, VII has more impact, direct and slight brighter sounding, while VIII is more balance, lush, warm and forward mid frequency.

Has anyone heard the Piano Forte X-CC? How is it and why is it 205k yen (about RM8k) in Amazon.jp? Geng man hahaha.
*
Yea i tried before, currently I'm using PF VIII, a more entry range of the series, couldn't afford the X-CC.

It is a magical earphone, google horn speaker technology and you will understand the basic sound signature of Piano Forte series, extremely musical in mid range, while sacrificing treble and bass.

X-CC has warmer and mellow sound comparing with VIII, which is more on general side, but it is good enough for me currently.
