QUOTE(windboy @ Sep 10 2012, 02:06 PM) Actually I wanted to buy a pair for personal use. But since I got a very good deal for it when I was in Hong Kong I decided to buy few more so I can offer it to fellow LYN for a lower price. I'm telling you this IEM is crazily gooood.Anyway I got a question. Why the cable in adagio II is so thin and feels cheap and fragile. |

One thing i like about my Adagio II, it aint picky when it comes to source......and the SQ it churns out is fuuhhhhh Anyway I got a question. Why the cable in adagio II is so thin and feels cheap and fragile. |

The cable being "cheap/fragile" actually is quite sceptical for me initially, however after i experience with thick/stiff cable such as Shure earphone, i finally found that thin = convenient for outdoor usage, as it can chuck into case easily and wont be obvious to others.Anyway I got a question. Why the cable in adagio II is so thin and feels cheap and fragile. And dont worry about the thin = fragile part, usually earphone won't spoil in the middle of wire(beside bite by dog etc, doesnt matter on thin or thick, both will gone for sure), the most fragile part will be the 3.5mm jack and cable connect to the driver. |

I find d Adagio 3 highs a bit harsh and ear piercing. Burned in abt 200 hrs d. Onli when I paired it with my cmoybb does d harshness tone down a bit. Is it normal?

I have auditioned the Adagio III before and I like it, could replace my current AT-CK300M, having almost the same signature (Japan??).
Anyway, it wasn't harsh, could it be it could handle very high frequency that you not notice before? Or you got used to bass/mid focus? Anyway, what's your current gear? And, how do you burn in the IEM? Being a very sensitive IEM, the volume needed is very low. |

Hi all, please let me know if what I'm about to say is inaappropriate to be mentioned here.
I can't help but notice that the price for Final Audio Design in Hong Kong is cheaper compared to local Malaysia price especially the high end model. So since I'm going to HK for the last time end of this month I'm offering to bring them if anyone interested. Please PM me. Ok that's all. Meanwhile let me burn in my Adagio II some more. |

Yes, if direct compare, off course HK will be cheaper, why? mainly due to our country awesome taxation.
As you know HK is a free trade port, while Malaysia charged 16% on earphone plus super expensive international shipping freight charge. If compare with brands, brand such as AKG, Sennheiser, Shure, Audio-technica are cheaper in HK compare with Malaysia too. But buying in malaysia provides warranty, as you might not know when you high ends will "kabut" due to unknown reason.
