S3 delay in home button because of voice talk.. It's waiting for you either you want to go home screen or wait for 2nd click for voice talk.. Imagine you want to voice talk, you double click home button but it goes to home screen because fastest processor.. Sure geram 1.. That's why double click for apple device home button is multi tasking task..

Was it that slow in S2?

Why?

Eh, can you confirm, SGS3 AP version have locked bootloader or not? I remember my SGS is AP version, I can't go to download mode, managed to go to download mode after send to Samsung Service Centre, but my Samsung Galaxy Ace is Korea version, I can go to download mode easily.

Tested both Recovery and Download mode. Able to enter.

If yours still can't try connecting USB cable to PC and try again.

I'm guessing it is not able to detect the eyes movement as covered by the cap?
*
Most likely it cant detect my face. Even if I put my cap higher also difficult to get it to work. So guys, remove your cap already. lol

There is another issue on joining Hangout. Not specifically an S3 problem as I faced this on S2 during GB's time. I think this is a TW 's thing.

There's an improvement on Gallery over stock Gallery (ICS) where you can now bring down the notification menu. smile.gif

Double tap on top of the phone to goto the top of a page only works for supported app. Doesn't work in Chrome.

s3 has swype keyboard or just samsung keyboard?
*
Samsung keyboard, but comes with swipe capability. Not as polished as Swype though, so I suggest installing Swype instead.

Okie, then I'll just rephrase what I remember.

I was using TRON (MVNO for Digi). So 1 morning I uploaded my breakfast photo to G+. Left the phone in my pocket. The phone started heating up considerably fast and it stays hot. In order not to waste the energy, I use it to heat my 2 pack of nasi lemak that I tapao'ed.

When I reach office, I had the phone connected to wifi, from then on, the heat starts to subside.

So I'm suspecting it's probably carrier's signal problem. Didn't try with other SIM though.

Then on another time, I had to set the phone to flight mode as the head traverse from my side knee pocket to my main pocket, thinking that the heat was generated by my GNex. That time I let it running on 3G as well.

hope its only your prototype model

was expecting the heat to be less severe due to 32nm
*
It's the hottest phone I had try. Some mentioned that the heat was similar to HOX.

I wasn't sure if the 4 cores were triggered prematurely due to prototype or phone trying to hunt for bad signal. I didn't play game with it though, so I doubt I triggered any intensive CPU cycles.

4 core should be like that. Seriously, really that hot? how many temperature?
*
I can't tell, probably close to 60 or more. Imagine it was so hot that I had to set it to flight mode and leave it on the table. Scared that it might melt. laugh.gif
