QUOTE(wpl84 @ May 28 2012, 01:38 AM) Check this link. Probably will answer most of your question. (Applies for DiGi) regarding to this DG Smart Plan..http://www.digi.com.my/postpaid/plan_smartplan.do say i'm getting a S3 separately, then buying the DG48 plan.. will it be worth it? And don't really understand the "+6 supplementary plan" written there The sub lines need to pay commitment fees also right? or is it FOC? |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ May 28 2012, 01:45 AM) unless you do not want to use data on your SG3. Otherwise, it makes more sense to get packages. do take note. check your data coverage with friends, colleagues. if thr y has 3g with DiGi or not. been hearing not so good review on them. what is a good phone without good data plan.It depends if you're willing to be held tight for 24 months Take note also that the RM63/month after auto-billing is only for the 3GB of data plan. Calls/SMS are charged separately under the DG Smart Plan. |

Before this, I wanted to sign up plan with U Mobile. But during the media preview, no U Mobile was mentioned, so I decided on Digi. Now that DiGi has finally revealed their plans, no DG48 pulak.

Take a look at this calculation below: DiGi is taking advantage of this newly launched phone.DG48: 2199 + (48x24) = 3351 DG68: 1149 + (68x24) = 2781 DG88: 999 + (88x24) = 3111 I could possibly just switch on my data for the whole month without switching it off if I were to subscribe to DG68. I'm now on Maxis Value First 30 with an average of RM60-70 monthly. My only concern is that DiGi's 3G coverage is low. I'm using Digi internet prepaid on my ipad and seems like I have to activate one day pass from maxis to get a strong connection when travelling to different states. Not sure if it's a good move to switch from Maxis to DiGi... |

Other option for poor users like me:
U28: 2199 + (28x24) = 2871 Hmm... Almost the same as DG68 which offers 3GB (I doubt I'll use that much though). But U28 includes 200 free SMS to other operators, and 100 to U Mobile. |

QUOTE(wpl84 @ May 28 2012, 02:21 AM) DiGi is taking advantage of this newly launched phone. I'm on digi and been using their call plan for 9 years now. Data past 3 years. Really not worth it to jump from Maxis to digi. Lately digi been busy upgrading all their 3G sites (known as tomorrow network) I don't see any improvements.I could possibly just switch on my data for the whole month without switching it off if I were to subscribe to DG68. I'm now on Maxis Value First 30 with an average of RM60-70 monthly. My only concern is that DiGi's 3G coverage is low. Not sure if it's a good move to switch from Maxis to DiGi... Their line always drop, even worst when it rains... oh dear. Out of klang valley if u manage to get EDGE consider yourself lucky. DiGi don't have HSPA+ too btw... they r still crawling at 900+kbps. Think again before jumping. This post has been edited by rattan: May 28 2012, 02:37 AM |
