QUOTE(silentser @ May 28 2012, 01:14 AM) I was hoping to subscribe to 48SP + 12 months contract.Don't need that extra data, since DiGi's broadband is slow compared to Maxis. Might just get the phone and switch my Maxis to the Internet value plan 48. http://maxis.com.my/internet/default.html?d=31 Anyway, at least we get the know the RRP is RM2199. |

There's DiGi roadshow happening from 31 May to 3 June at some states.
But since we already know what they will offer, it's now up to Maxis. |

QUOTE(calvin_kenni @ May 28 2012, 01:36 AM) One question guys.. really confused about all these telco choices. Check this link. Probably will answer most of your question. (Applies for DiGi)I'm probably gonna get the S3 with plans from one of the telco.. My usage will be mostly based on voice call, sms (to girlfriend of course) and occasional internet usage (maybe 1GB is sufficient for me since i got internet at home) So let's say i subscribe to these plans.. can i have my girlfriend to join the family/supplementary line also? kinda confusing leh... http://www.digi.com.my/postpaid/plan_smartplan.do |

QUOTE(garagesell @ May 28 2012, 02:02 AM) friend.. can take the last DG88? DiGi is not offering the 48 plan for the S3.999 + (48x24) = RM2151 or 999 package only can choose DG88? where is the T&C? please advice 999 is only applicable to the 88 plan. QUOTE(Silver Isle @ May 28 2012, 01:57 AM) Don't think will be worth it. Take a look at this calculation below: DiGi is taking advantage of this newly launched phone.DG48: 2199 + (48x24) = 3351 DG68: 1149 + (68x24) = 2781 DG88: 999 + (88x24) = 3111 I could possibly just switch on my data for the whole month without switching it off if I were to subscribe to DG68. I'm now on Maxis Value First 30 with an average of RM60-70 monthly. My only concern is that DiGi's 3G coverage is low. I'm using Digi internet prepaid on my ipad and seems like I have to activate one day pass from maxis to get a strong connection when travelling to different states. Not sure if it's a good move to switch from Maxis to DiGi... |

QUOTE(rattan @ May 28 2012, 02:35 AM) I'm on digi and been using their call plan for 9 years now. Data past 3 years. Really not worth it to jump from Maxis to digi. Lately digi been busy upgrading all their 3G sites (known as tomorrow network) I don't see any improvements. Thanks for the info. Their line always drop, even worst when it rains... oh dear. Out of klang valley if u manage to get EDGE consider yourself lucky. DiGi don't have HSPA+ too btw... they r still crawling at 900+kbps. Think again before jumping. Will see what Maxis is going to offer with S3. |

S3 can only support to a maximum of 32GB (MicroSD).
64GB card not supported. But I guess 16GB(Phone) + 32GB(MicroSD) is more than enough. |

QUOTE(jetpacker @ May 28 2012, 07:05 PM) currently im tied to digi samsung galaxy s2 contract for 2 years (still got 1 year to go)...am i still able to "upgrade" my plan by getting S3 from digi???? S2 is still a great phone. Why would you want to get S3? If so, just sell off your S2 and get the S3 if you really tempted to get that phone. In the first place, if you were thinking of changing phone often, you shouldn't have taken the 2 years contract. That's my opinion. Probably after your contract has completed, you can opt for S4 then. |
