QUOTE(chewlf @ Jul 3 2012, 04:02 PM) Yes, I have it formatted to FAT32. I don't want to make a conclusion that the problem was caused by the card slot as there is no problem when using class 4. Probably due to ROM or the writing to external media script. Guess I have to reformat and put back my class 4 card at the moment. hey chew i am facing the same problem as you. tab fried by 64gb class 10 sdxc, sent it back for warranty now. I am very reluctant to use the 64gb sdxc on this tab again because i xfer my card from my note. using tweaked 3.0 rom as well. |

one think i observed about the new ics update is in general it seems to use less ram, previously on HC if you have many apps open the tab feels sluggish, now if you do that using ICS, the tab still flys~!
I absolutely love my tab so much more now~! using it is such an enjoyable experience. |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 5 2012, 02:32 PM) great insights, thanks. I was wondering can we delete the Android folder on our storage, because its hogging 1GB+ of my storage. please advise what android folder are you talking about? if you are talking about the folder where they hold the app data it's better you leave it, otherwise some of your apps might not work properly. |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 5 2012, 02:36 PM) the location that I managed to retrieved from the file manager is /mnt/sdcard/Android. So you were saying, if I force to clear up the folder, most worst is it only apps malfunction? well I'm OK with that, I'm just worried whether do it affects the system files itself. i think the function of that folder is to store external data for apps. let say you are using sygic and it downloads the map and its stored there. not really sure about deleting it, you can always backup that folder and try deleting it. |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 5 2012, 02:50 PM) mind to enlighten me how to backup the folder by apps? Not too sure whether Titanium Backup can do this, one of the main reason I would like to delete it, because I want to factory reset the device, I wanna to have a clean ICS if possible oh it is easy then, are you rooted? if you are you just need to head to recovery and format everything there, wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, and under format, format emmc and all, your device will be clean without any trance. you can also wipe your micro sd card there. hope that helps. titanium backup is used to backup all the apps you installed. but if you wipe the rom as well, maybe for certain apps you might need to redownload external data. |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 5 2012, 02:56 PM) Yes, I'm. The thing is I kinda worried to do that, as I have my Nandroid inside CWM folder, I do not dare to touch that. Besides that, If everything is wipe clean, what will happen to the device, will it still boots? Just using Windows as theory example, If I reformat, definitely I need to install back the disc. What would happen to CWM by then? before you wanna wipe ur device 100% clean, ill advice you backup everything you deem important, if you have the nandroid backup inside there, back it up using your pc, even your micro sd, back it up... better to be safe than sorry. and yes the device will still be able to boot up. dont worry you dont have to do any of the windows crap on android. your device only won't boot up if you soft brick or hard brick it. |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 5 2012, 03:24 PM) guess nothing i can do now, as i don't have the cable with me, anyway, thanks for your constructive reply. you can always move your app to sd using titanium. I don't see why notby the way, i got another question, regarding installing apps on sd card, is it possible now on ICS? |
