no you dont need root to upgrade, but if ur rooted and wants to retain root it is better to flash thru mobile odin.

if ur unsure then dont flash first, let the white mice over at xda test it and we shall see whether is it any good

omg did you soft brick your device? i guess im lucky, i always wipe emmc and everything but touch wood i haven't brick my device yet.

ohhh, bootloop aint a soft brick, soft brick means u cant boot at all, only can go to download mode.

did the screen keep turning blank and back to the samsung logo? if it doesnt then it is a soft brick, but if it keeps rebooting itself but unable to boot into android then it is a bootloop

i got my zenus from a ship in paradigm mall, i think the shop is gadgetpro or something like that, they have a branch in 1u as well. i bought it for rm230.

i was contemplating whether i should get the anymode but according to real life reviews the side will tear, and a forumer offered me sgp leather case, which in my humble opinion is the best case for this tab. but the waiting time is 1-2 weeks, so i went out and grab this zenus instead.

anyways here is my case.

when i went there they only have this color left, so i'm left with no choice.

the forumer that offered my is lhongwuh, if i've not mistaken he offered me rm300+. it it a very nice case though, i would have bought it if he have ready stock. because i don't want to leave my tab naked.

my initial first choice was anymode but heard bad reviews about it, so it's either sgp or zenus. and since sgp needs to wait, im left with zenus. also i like a case that have a latch to close the flap into place, anymode case doesn't have that. and i want a case that can double as a stand to watch movies when im on a plane. so zenus it is~!

no never... you should calibrate your battery

run theh battery down until auto off, charge it til full when the tab is close, then boot into recovery and wipe batter stats

this is why we root our tab, w want total control of it.

download the usb drivers for tab 7.7 and installed it on your pc.

bro it is possible for sure, why the sim card slot then? after u put in ur simcard try a reboot. ive sent sms, mms, talk without using bluetooth headset on this tab before, work wonderfully albeit the size
