can Kies do backup the apps same like iTunes to pc?

Do yourself. It is freaking easy
If yours is unrooted, use odin in pc and just flash the rom tar file as pda. Leave everything as default and select start. Within minutes you will have ics
If your tab is rooted and you want to maintain root, use mobile odin pro ( select ever root, superuser, inject mobile odin and wipe caches only ) and your tab will reboot into ICS within minutes with data intact and rooted. Use back mobile odin pro install the cam tar file to get back cwm

no need to backup anything because the update wont wipe your device... everything will be there...

hmm.. I am using Stock ROM and somehow my Kies can't connect to my Tab, any idea?

kies is known to be unstable... try uninstall and reinstall that good for nothing software...

i'm trying to update HC to ICS tru PC Odin
However the process seems stuck at setup connection for more than 5 minutes(until now)
Is it normal?
I guess after SetupConnection, there will be more process to go..
how can i skip the boot download mode?

skip download mode means how to exit from boot download mode if flash process fail/hang/etc.Just in case..

BTW, i re-falsh using other usb port and it fail

Yes, my ICS upgrade was easier than I thought using Odin. The download of the firmware was the longest part of the process. Once it was done, the ICS flashing was completed in about 5 minutes.

Now I'm happily using and enjoying my 7.7. The difference between GB and ICS is like night and day.

I read The Star ePaper on my tab all the time and there are a few articles and ads I would like to keep for reference. Is there some sort of app that will help me bookmark the pages I like so I can refer to it immediately anytime instead of flipping the pages and looking for it everytime?
