Yesterday when I was charging my tab from the outlet. It is getting so hot that can burns my hand and the screen pop up with the message the device is too hot and charging has stop. I can smells something burning and it took 10 minutes for it to cool down after shut down. But it is still working after power up. Anything wrong here? Anyone encounter such situation as well? Need to send in for check-up?

Suggest to take your tab walk into service center to check ...

Oh? Is it at The Icon in Jalan Tun Razak? It took how long to check and get back the device? As far as I know Samsung is pretty slow in servicing.

And need to unroot the device as well?

why dont you go to service center next by of the federal highway there to check ?

What i got the information is only federal highway that service center was the most quick settle issue center

Not really necessary to unroot
Most time they don't bother even flash with custom roms
If you worried about it than unroot
You can also go to lowyat 4th floor service center

meanwhile, my tab suddenly dead when charging yesterday. only realize when i need to use it 2 hours after charging.
until now, cannot on back. it even cannot boot in recovery and download mode. need to send for warranty. but cannot unroot because its hard brick.

i think maybe battery prob or charger connector prob causing my tab straight to death.

does we can claim warranty by post?? since im from melaka, its inconvenience for me to go to subang (directd).

Wow u r more unlucky than mine. It is still can use now, tonight will charge again and see if it heat up again. Worried it will explode.

Just call them n described your problem n courier it to them. That is what I did for one of my previous phone
You have to pay for courier charges back to you n of course if any added fees

anyone here knows the price of an original charger for the 7.7? mine's about to die soon....the cord seems too rigid and prone to breakages inside the shielding.

Just bought this TAB today after long consideration.... AMOLED screen was the main reason choosing this TAB...

For me the impressive has two ~first was the amoled second was the dual core processor ~

this baby rocks..
it's awesome

another reason i choose 7.7 becoz of its long battery life..
but this adv also another drawback..
the build in batt unable to change when it's started aging
