Just installed firmware update yesterday via OTA. Forgot to screen capture the dialogue message regarding the new update but from what I can remember it is to fix the instability problem ( which one?)

My battery drain so fast. wifi off,no sim / data used,bluetooth off. Only light gaming. Screen power brightness set to lowest.

Added on November 16, 2012, 3:15 pmuse until really low bat... around 2%... turn it off then charging the device while off... until 100%... then go to cwm---> advanced ---> wipe battery stat

then see if the drain still there...

I did it last night. But the battery was like around 12% when i recharged it to 100% and enter recovery mode to wipe batt stats.

I charged my tab while the power is still on.

Did not plug out the cable while wiping batt stats, i am afraid if i pulled it,the ball will go down from 10% to 99%.

After the update, I think the my battery last a little longer. Normally by this time 4 or 5pm the battery percentage is around 50%. Now the battery is around 78% but weird thing is that there a.flckering band on the screen ( like when your PC monitor hve wrong Hertz). Not so obvious on flat color background but you can see it clearly when the background have gradient colours and screen brightness setting at the lowest.

it will charge regardless of the cross sign on the battery icon when tab is connected to USB hub/port, only the charging rate is slower... i plug mine in @ 50% @ 12am, and its fully charged by 7am...

iPad works the same way too. BTW, does anyone tried the hdmi or usb adaptor.

Hi, I never used android before, been using iphone 3g and ipad till now. I was thinking to switch to android. I want to know can android run JAVA application (MIDP v2.0). It's a requirement to run OSK mobile trading software. I wonder will this tab able to run it? Thank you in advance.

finally there is a custom stock ROM with aroma installer. Highly recommended for users who want stock ROM with option to remove samsung bloatwares. And the latest version LP8 is based on SEA region. Flashed it on my rooted stock LP9 ROM yesterday night without Wipe, so far so good. Din notice any difference other than the disappearance of those bloatwares.

remember you must be using stock ics DXLP8 to use this... flash using cwm...

Possible to flash on top of Austria stock ROM without wiping?

aaaaanddddd i though i've already mentioned there...

remember you must be using stock ics DXLP8 to use this... flash using cwm...

even if you flash dxlop8 with odin... it wont wipe your data...
