These are recent work of mine. I dont use the advanced features of 3D Studio Max yet as im still an amateur. Plus, i have not learnt this software in my course yet.

You seem to have a pretty good start smile.gif

1. Modeling wise, your models' corners are sharp, smooth them out. If you go check out all things in real life, nothing is sharp edged. Use bevel, with small values, doing so makes your model look better when you render.

2. Work more on your texturing (UV layout) and lighting.

good, but lack of realistic, try work on rendering settings n texturing, will look much better. hehe, me myself m a 3ds Max amateur too, but at least u study art, im just a science student... sad.gif

My comment, your mapping is very good and your lighting also no very know to control it well and u modeling skill also is very very no good need improved it .... what u software using ? and which collage u from?

yeah which coll ru frm..and ur studyin in which sem?....u did some good work but u need to brush up wit ur modelling skills because thats d core of the whole thing...smooth things up and it will indeed look alot lot lot more better...all d best and work hard on it... thumbup.gif
