Now at agm. All director kena kutuk. Every year say will turn around but nothing forthcoming. Director all muka tebal only lar. Happily collecting their remunerations. When ask question all putar belit. Lol

I guess every knows Mas is basically a goreng counter. more so after this AGM i attended. MD gave a 10 min presentation.. what i gather is rather vague. same story liek last year..

we have :

1) world class assets
2) world class engineering
3) world class cabin
4) forgot what else

1 billion plus losses despite increase revenue

kinda disappointing they never highlight specifics area on what are their plans to turn around


During Q&A. kena bambu but never give direct answer. everyone was emotional, auntie, ex staff with 45 years experience blah blah blah..director all muka tebal.

now here is an interesting fact...NONE of the directors hold any shares in MAS.

the only solid thing i got from Q&A was from the MD. ppl were askign about MH370 insurance. according to teh MD, it is fully insured, air plane, engine, lodging etc. what is not insured is the "Branding". they lost 60% of china market went they sent blank for 2 months(no promotional event, marketing etc).

so same story every year. and i think the chairman is pretty lousy. suit more to be politician than executive.

speaking of brahims... I wanted to ask why the catering increase from 8mil to 32mil from fy12 to fy13 but no chance lar. all the apek all hogging the mic..

on the resolution 6 which touches the remunerations, base on show of hands against was more than in favour. but that of coz wants salary so ask for balloting instead. so with balloting sure they win coz khazana is in their team..

I can tell you this one thing the management did not answer any question except for the insurance of the MH370. the rest all putar halim.
when asked about CEO salary of 2mil(from MSWD) the chairman say "I can vouched for the directors they are very dedicated lar blah blah blah" basically all muka tebal only. and the chairman was hogging all the questions and directors all senyap only..only when one person insist on the MD to answer the insurance did he relent

luckily I made money from this counter if not I baling batu already..

apart from questions a lot of ppl gave their piece of mind..

well I went to genting AGM it was done professionally most answers are given clearly, they have the whole management behind the directors with PC just in case they need to pull figures out. they state clearly what are their plans for the future.

this one all in all just like 5-10 min presentation from MD. lol...

yes you are right they should not cover line but truth be told I don't think they care. I did mentioned NONE of the directors are stake holders in MAS. NONE hold any shares in the company. and the chairman has got the cheek to blurt it out
