Haha, its not a competition. Was just wondering whether pmc sifu will be interested in setups like yours, since its pretty impressive~
Does it work for dragonflies or other insects? Or just spiders since they're eyes are "reflective"?

I think the O ring is not that suitable unless its sort of like your 1st uploaded photo, when the focus is on the eyes and the background is dark Just my 2 cents haha... I know nuts about macro

Thank you, just practice more.
Once you know the technique it will not be difficult to get similar shot like this.
And macro photography is actually much cheaper than i thought.
cropped body + tamron sp90 macro lens + smallest OEM flash (SB400 or 270EX mk2) + DIY diffuser can produce much better result than mine.
my equipment : 5dmk3 + 100mmL + 600EX + Stupid diffuser(cost more but lousier result lol )

I would get cropped body like 650d or 60d.
They are lighter for handheld (i shoot handheld only)
