hey guys,im new to this root stuff.
sensation xe,hboot 1.29 ,ics 4.03,htc sense 3.6
heres are my questions/situations:


1.how do i know if my senstaion is rooted?is Root Checker really reliable?it says i have root access.i also have the superSU.

2.i unlocked the bootloader using htcdev n s-off the sensation xe using SnakeX method but i did some changes to it.: i used the Hasoon2000's sensation 4g kit instead of the hox kit,and i renamed the CWM to PG58IMG instead of CWM5827.

at bootloader,it shows s-off.hboot and eMMC-boot.doesnt display radio and adsp between the two lines.it also says PG58IMG not found everytime i got to the bootloader first screen.

did i messed up the process?

3.i used Titanium backup to uninstall preinstalled apps(Amped,mysingtel etc).i couldnt see them anymore in settings>apps but in titanium theyre still there,only the name is crossed out.it's really annoying,though.are they really in the phone and if they do,how do i completely remove it?


4. ota update is not working for me.can download but not install.aborted everytime i tried to do so.i think im using the stock rom since the software num is 3.32.707.110 (dont know how to verify.lol)

im using ARHD 6.7.2 and 4ext recovery. can someone help me so i can get back to stock?

need help.i was trying to S-Off my xe using using juoputbear method thru kgs AIO utility.when control bear wanted to reboot,device wont reboot.it stuck on htc screen.took off the usb but then it kept restarting to htc screen(the first one when you power on).flashed new recovery and ROM(cwm and arhd).it worked but i cant go to recovery.what should i do to fix this?

i did that and it worked,but in fastboot it said pg58img not found or wrong image.how do i fix this?i downloaded few zips but none of them work.two of them only stop at parsing,then nothing happens.have checked the cid and mid.all same with mine cid:HTC__044 mid :PG5813001

btw,can anyone send me working link for stock rom?i downloaded from http://www.filefactory.com/f/c87a2330449af512/ and somewhere else but have the wrong ones,well thats what it said.should i just send it in somewhere? -.-

does bootloader always ask for pg58img?

has anyone installed AOKP rom?

anyone can s-off my sensation xe? have a hard time doing the wire trick.about 20times n still no s-off cant recall how many times i tried.20 at least.lol

Which kernel is best for performance but not much draining power on viperS? minevcan last about 4 5 hours.maybe because i often use the net n OC'd to 1.6ghz.governor set to ondemand,btw

Not sure bugs or its just me but when i plugged in headset,turn off enhancer,plugged out,the notification didnt disappear.in camera,when i changed the effect,couldnt change it again.need to take picture,then only can change effect.everything else is supe

those who are using anthrax kernel on vipers rom,hows your experience?battery seems to drain faster for me :S
