Is it? That means the Harrier is a lot larger in real life than it is now.
*
Yup. I compared the pilots on the F/A - 18 and the Harrier and they looked the same size. When I compared to my F-14 at 1:72, it's like few times smaller tongue.gif

Then again, I might be wrong... let me just Google the size comparison first...

I was there between 12pm-1pm. I wore a black cap. Were you the guy with glasses choosing the fighter jets?

Added on September 27, 2012, 10:04 pmHi Fubar. Here's my planes scale comparison:

Harrier is 1:72 alright. It is a much smaller jet than F14. Go and measure them. I can't measure mine as harrier is at my condo.
1:72 harrier is 7.75 inches and 1:72 tomcat is 10.25 inches.
*
Yup, it's definitely right on the scale alright... I did some measurements and I have to admit, it's really a 1/72. Didn't realise the Harrier is that small tongue.gif

just sharing...

in real life measurement

Harrier jet:

Length:

Kestrel FGA.1: 42 ft 6 in (13.0 m)
Harrier GR3/AV-8A: 47 ft 2 in (14.4 m)
Sea Harrier FA2: 46 ft 6 in (14.2 m)
Harrier GR9: 46 ft 4 in (14.1 m)
AV-8B+ Harrier:47 ft 8 in (14.5 m)

F-14:

Length: 62 ft 9 in (19.1 m)

suppose harrier is bit smaller than f-14
*
Yup but I think the fuel nozzle and the small pointy tip at the end added the length a bit. And it doesn't even need much wing like other planes do...

Here, the weather here is more humid and wetter. So, chances of rust is higher than those less humid countries.

hmm.gif Or can follow those food packaging and put in the silica gel inside.  laugh.gif
*
That too can work but dunno whether it's more expensive than oil or they dun want those packets to be "dancing" inside the case and damage those small protruding parts... hmm.gif

Silica gel I know is just few cents only while the spray should be less than that.
No silica gel also can break the plane nose inside. grumble.gif

I was thinking about the tanks when I typed that... the wheels and the propeller are the fragile parts

Done that couple of weeks back. I'm only outstanding on the CTC latest model. FAC I think it up to date.
