I just gotten back from Allscript and my all heck loads of my missing fighter planes issues. While I was looking at the Harrier, it states it's 1:72 but comparing to my F-14 1:72 and the other 1:100 in other issues, it's safe to say the Harrier is actually in 1:100 instead of 1:72.

I was there between 12pm-1pm. I wore a black cap. Were you the guy with glasses choosing the fighter jets?

rclxub.gif Now very confuse liao but I think you are right. Even though the Harrier is suppose to be smaller than the Mig, it can't be THAT small compare with the same scale F14.

Harrier is 1:72 alright. It is a much smaller jet than F14. Go and measure them. I can't measure mine as harrier is at my condo.
1:72 harrier is 7.75 inches and 1:72 tomcat is 10.25 inches.

hmm.gif From the calculations to the real length size, it does come close to it. Maybe the swept wings of F14 make it look huge.
And the Harrier was designed to be small so that it can lift off and land in small spaces.

just sharing...

in real life measurement

Harrier jet:

Length:

Kestrel FGA.1: 42 ft 6 in (13.0 m)
Harrier GR3/AV-8A: 47 ft 2 in (14.4 m)
Sea Harrier FA2: 46 ft 6 in (14.2 m)
Harrier GR9: 46 ft 4 in (14.1 m)
AV-8B+ Harrier:47 ft 8 in (14.5 m)

F-14:

Length: 62 ft 9 in (19.1 m)

suppose harrier is bit smaller than f-14
