Everyone's views are subjected to their own opinions. I have mine. So don't impose your views on others.
Sorry was a bit mean. Movies JOBS: a biopic of Steve Jobs, from hippy to how he change our world

QUOTE(SabPrincess82 @ Sep 23 2013, 12:54 PM) I think people are bit harsh on it. Why would you want an ending as expected? I agree, Ashton showed he can actually act. He had Jobs walk perfect. The storyline is what it is because it's based on true events. They chose that era of Apple because that's when it shows who Jobs was and how he built one of the biggest companies in the world. Too many people need explosions in movies or they get bored. No attention span. it's not about the story...it's how they build and connect the story. i personally think this movie sucks like hell.. Pirates of Silicon Valley conveys Jobs life better (even if it's an over exagerration). Ashton Kutcher got the looks and can act the part, but the direction of the story..urgh! they made this movie like assuming EVERYONE knows every tiny bit of details of Jobs life, which is why it's fail. Viewers wants to see how the story unfold, how to connect with the main character. What this film did is took pieces of events and re-enacts it, instead of TELLING a story. Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs; there were brilliant moments, some astonishingly (and eerily) similar attributes and then... some lol-worthy acting. The part where he walks like Steve Jobs... so terrible his impression.
The part where he fires the programmer for not being on the same page for typeface Some really good acting, and then some of the worst acting ever, but overall can say he tried his absolute best. Just that at times he tried too hard. |
