hy there, recently i got this type of mem...Corsair 512MB x 2, it's PC3200 Pro LED 3-3-3-8 Ver. 5.2, i can get as high as up to 280MHz w/out any prob, the weird is, i clocked it in the windows environment - using clockgen.bootable 250MHz@2.8@3-4-3-7, but sometimes it cant bootable even after i reset the BIOS or Clear the CMOS, now, my RAM is 'dead' i think, it wont BOOT, wont power up, only showed orange LED, like hang or something...

no help aaaa? help please...need some help here...

updated bios from official asus site is still beta, now i'm downgrading back to 1009 (default)

i thought i can sell it (my asus a8n-sli premium) to you... for your info mr.threadstarter, ur previous mobo isnt dead, u have to hotflash ur board - easy like those MSI board...here...

1: insert ur mobo support cd
2: while switching on, hit ALT+F2 n wait normally 5-10 secs before the screen show, u r now flashing new BIOS!
3: voila...finish ady...reboot ler...

kindly stated ur exact model n type, like mine here, Corsair XMS1024 PC3202C2PT Rev. 5.2 those timing, from techpowerup.com, i assume it uses Mosel Vitalic, ask RAM Guyla, at corsair support site, there's a lot IC list there...

eh, at RAMguy's thread, no needla to register...ok, i actually have asked this kind of question bout my RAM chip, but no one can confirm it, but since there's a rumour (my RAM chip) might be possible uses Promos or Mosel Vitalic - according to IC Thread in RAM guy...
