becareful so tat u won't kill it...
2.8 n 2.9v is kinda risky voltage.
especially is hard to put a fan on top to blow it...
*
DDRs can stand up to at least 3V. 2.8V and 2.9V is now normal. Don't even need fans btw......

Westley: I have been using TCCD at 2.9V at 275FSB 1:1 for quite long. Without active cooling. Where did you get the info that TCCD cannot take more than 45C? I just want to know where is our source.

As far as I know, Samsung TCCD Operating temps is between 0C - 70C.

Here is a spec sheet of a TCCD chipped DDR from Kingston: http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/khx3200ulk2_1g.pdf

well, as much as i can said is good luck to kcnyc.

the heatspreader of mine tccd reach that temperature...
and it is pretty dangerous, bcoz i'm using 2x 40mm sunon fan to blow on it...

and hv u all try to feed it for 3.2v?
well, i hv tried, at the past it can do 300, wif weird timing...
but, it can't do cl2.5 anymore @ 400mhz...
*
Anything above 3.0V is not even stable unless you get those that can take voltage supposedly NEW TCCD(which until today, I have not seen). So why would you even go to 3.2V? And 3.2V is dangerous, it is like asking the TCCD to do a BH5 trick! A 100M sprint runner to run the marathon! That I won't do.

And you keep saying it is dangerous....according to you is it? I have been using it at 2.9V everyday. No problems at all. And most other forumers are using it at 2.9V also in Malaysia. I don't hear them complaining also..........

Table fan u say, that's my setup too lol:

Planning to add another 1GB. Can i get a different brand of ram to make it run? Another 1GB kit.

Thanx

Getting a different RAM is not advisable. Thhe overclockability will be very unpredictable. You must have at least same chips on the DDRs.
