1stick : able to do 250MHz, 2.5-4-3-7
2stick : fail to do 250MHz, 2.5-4-3-7 (memtest passed all, will torture it alone later) 3stick : able to do 250MHz, 2.5-4-3-7 4stick : haven't test. All vdimm is 2.8v set in BIOS. Here is the screenshot which both sticks able to do 250MHz together, 2.5-4-3-7,1T, 2.8vdimm. Will try to put it further, my aim is 275MHz This post has been edited by ahpaul82: Jan 28 2006, 01:15 PM |

Will try to use 290MHz setting play game and see how.. |

QUOTE(gsan @ Feb 1 2006, 11:07 AM) Latest updated Having a multiplier x10 processor is alwaz a good thing 1GByte TwinX - 2x CMX512-3200PRO (XMS3200v1.3) 3-3-3-8 ![]() ![]() Result: 270 @ 2.5-3-4-7, 2.8v memtest stable for whole night, morning quick test 275 at the same timing but need higher voltage, 3.0v to error free in memtest. any voltage below 3v will give errors in memtest. as i know, newer tccd need higher voltage to perform better. since this ram is labelled 0524XXXX, i guess that the chip mostly based on Samsung TCCD 0522 or even newer. ![]() will push to higher later as I need to surf net now at least easy to hit high MHz... great result there ! better than mine i never tested more than 2.9vdimm.. |

QUOTE(Westley @ Feb 1 2006, 04:49 PM) nope... i think olny those 2x1GB RAM using Micron, UCCC etc chipsets required less than 2.8vdimm right ? unless u hv winbond chip... why dun u try on micron, tccd n see... check the temperature urself... on such a hot enviroment, dun think the ram can survive. even 2.8v is enuf to kill the ram. tccd cannot tahan such a high voltage of 3.0v for too long... even is yr 05. try believe it... it is different for tcc5 rev.f and tccd in terms of voltage. (older batch TCCD also only need <2.8vdimm to hit high MHz ) but you need to pay permium price .. not everyone afford to buy it. |

For testing the RAM and overall system stability,
Prime set as below : option -> torture test -> custom. Set min FFT to 8K, max FFT to 4096K. RAMsize = 800MB of 1GB RAM, UN-TICK 'run in place FFT' and set to 1 min. |

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Apr 18 2006, 04:14 PM) hy there, recently i got this type of mem...Corsair 512MB x 2, it's PC3200 Pro LED 3-3-3-8 Ver. 5.2, i can get as high as up to 280MHz w/out any prob, the weird is, i clocked it in the windows environment - using clockgen.bootable 250MHz@2.8@3-4-3-7, but sometimes it cant bootable even after i reset the BIOS or Clear the CMOS, now, my RAM is 'dead' i think, it wont BOOT, wont power up, only showed orange LED, like hang or something... try stick by stick first and see how. |
