Just found out abt this forum.. Please let me join the community.. Abt that ring, I found one too a similar 1 at act 3 last map before azmadon. It drop when I spawn at last check point, from normal mob and only one NV.. Is luck...

These days not many friends playing liao.. most gave up. left some "npc players" only. sigh.. feel like deleting them.

Been playing for quite some time. Was started with 15k dps blizzard hydra and. then with magic find farming pony level.
Only then started farming act 3 at 40k + dps after 1.0.4.. hybrid frost nova/SC + archon build. Slowly gear up from there after that. Now in pure dps. I dont even need frost nova anymore. can survive with just diamond skin and twister since I have abt 600 LOH.

There's technique to run act 3 at the fastest speed with most efficient exp grind too.

I think monk only got two handed daibo n lv 62 fist legendary buffed. wiz got slolark, wiz spike, n chantotos legendary.

I was once rely on frostnova too much. actually u can tank pretty well if u have around 600 LOH even without frost nova.

APOC i find it maximum at 10 is good combo with astral the passive 20 arcane regen/sec. Until u get around 40k-60k dps can replace it with blur or galvaring ward..

i just calculated my gear. total abt 327m. next upgrade gonna cost a bomb. high stats zunimassa is abt 125m.

They keep changing. zzz donno still can on archon n shoot beam all the way or not..

They will keep buff n nerf..
No matter how many times blizz change it, somehow there's a loop hole. 90% of wiz will over use a single skill. currently has 3, SC, EA with prismaric n diamond skin. U mad?

I prefer they buff others n nerf the 3 of above.. So i can try other powerful runes.

Best just log in continue farming high end gear. Shouldnt be worry too much once u have half of the top gear

U should slowly replace your MF gear with more DPS. It helps u to level up faster. And also now MF gear is getting cheaper and cheaper.

Any class without critical hit chance gonna stuck at low dps. Especially wizard when the class is relying on CM passive so much. U can pump that from ur amulet, glove, rings, bracers and off hand but since both ur off hand and bracers already have. U will easily get around 30%++ critical hit chance (chc).

Ur AR is good but u need to choose between AR or chc & int somehow. Unless you have tans of gold. else stacking main properties like that with high stats is not easy..

next is critical hit damage. an average weapon with 800+dps minimum base 50%-100% critical hit damage with socket to boost another chd gem + 70% should be affordable.


Here is a very good damage calculator to help u buy item wisely at which will give u the maximum damage. I often use it so that my gold is value with maximum damage at the lowest cost.

Added on September 19, 2012, 12:01 amI never know archon form actually increase damage. Unless u buff with familiar/magic weapon and rune improve archon.

Archon gave buff to armor and AR as well but nothing that I know that it will increase damage like barb's wrath.
Is the skill that deal high damage.

It doesn't necessary to 1-3 shot elite. I still rmb back then I have unbuff 500 AR and unbuff 70k dps only, can still kill elites with archon. But need to kite and collect health globes.

I'm pretty sure ur build is good enough to play archon build especially u have high LOH and also enough AR and HP.

I was like ur build last time but replace explotion with arcane hydra only. Then slowly i face the fact that changing to archon build is running much faster. U actually do not even need frost nova anymore.

Maybe if u dont mind. Can try archon build. When fall below 40% health just right click archon and use back the tank mode to gain back health and return to archon continue shooting.. that's what I did when I was around ur dps. I always believe archon build can farm faster than non archon build

I can survive with only 600 LOH, 418 AR unbuff and no frostnova, definately cant beat ur LOH n AR.

Usually ppl rely too much on frostnova because they dowan to kite or move too much.. but actually it helps u to kill faster if u replace it with magic weapon or familiar for extra dps.

Ur spell cooldown is already overkilled. extra 15% reduce cd is also not necessary.
HP high, LOH high, AR high, also overkilled. the blur passive also not necessary man. glass cannon is always a better choice. and coldblooded if u wanna continue ur current build.

Is just my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong.

off hand average damage should be around 100-400+

Best upgrade wil be withing hour for chd boost

very impress.. but seems like AR only around 140? i can see from shoulder and boots only. But 220k dps enough to down mobs before there reach u

But can die unexpectedly from range mobs. or voltex + firechain+ electrified +molten + hulking beast(teleport passive)

I got like 57 barbarian belth worth only 40k and also bracer level 62 worth only 200k

just got the star of azkaranth.. kinda bad the stats.

Actually is a good place to farm if u dont mind abt the EXP..
