Got myself resist gear, 728 after warcry, 8k armor, 23k HP, DPS 9k, 11k after frenzied. Able to kill some elites in inferno act 2.

guys i really need some advice here.....how to become an effective dps barb? my current stat only 24k hp, 5.7 armour, and only 4.5 dps at lvl of 58...=(..i did pick up a 2-hand pole which can allow my dps to reach 7.2....but i found out tat is only useful for boss...normal creep i keep on dying...now i cant even solo on elite or gold...can guide me?

2 handed doesn't help, if without good amount of Critical Damage.
try get 1 hand weapon with 700>800DPS come with str and a socket.
off-hand get a shield also come with str, vit to boost up your stat.

okay.....erm do you have any recommended skill? so far the skill that i used are cleave wif broad sweep for creep and frenzy for boss, hammer of the ancient with smash, ground stomp with wrenching smash, furious charge wif dreadnought, war cry wif invigorate, call of the ancient when fighting creep and berserk during boss, passive will be inspiring presence, tough as nail and bloodthirst.

I can't recommend much on skill, since, I'm still working out for Inferno ACT2.
i switch skill every moment to find out which is good combination for ACT2...

well, its all about your selection of active and passive skills and of course, your gear itself and the way you wish to play. Do you want to be pure DPS barb? Like wise, U just select for all attack in your passive skill selection, same goes to your active skill.

On the other side,

How much gold you have now? Why dont you wait untill lvl 60 and try inferno. Then only you decide to customize your build. Meanwhile you just play with your fren and try to reach lvl60 and beat Diablo in Hellmode ASAP.

Cuz I regret spent so many gold before I reach lvl60 (cuz I want to try this and that) and later found out I still have to change my gear to survive in Inferno.

Any guide for barbarian to earn gold fast? Which map and quest? Having problem with gold now currently lvl 48 act 4 nightmare

hmm, before the new patch, there is a way to gain more gold by doing repetitive quest/grind in same place again agaian and again. But now I dont think so that way still can. I never tried it anyway.

IMO, best way to earn gold is equip as many GF item and just explore all map and do all quest and event. At same time, you gain experience.

Dun worry too much on gold yet..just get urself to Lvl 60 asap...then the gold will be easy

find urself a good Hell map with loads of mobs and elite + Neph Valor 5x + "Own GF eqs"..keep rinse and repeat "sampai kaya"



ok...right now my concern is the other class Godly Damage, Barbs aint anywhere close to the damage they are dealing (100K, 128K....270K ) danggg.....susah cari makan like this...

Highest i've seen from the net so far for barb damage is around 50K++ or issit 30K++ cant remember

I tot someone in here before, posted that he can achieve bout 800k dmg with buff and earthquake. not sure if that post are still here.

ooo...i totaly forgot about it..the skill damage...too focus on the damage on display on the stats screen..hehe

Aikx.. So I just power leveling until 60 first then.. I just scare I can't afford to buy new equipment when I'm on my way to 60.. Weapon and eq are getting expensive now,

My suggestion for u to get an EQ's that have GF modifier is redirect to your question. Make sense what.

if u really cant keep up now, spend a bit gold to improve your hero la. Or, check back or revamp your passive and active skills. But if can keep up, just stick to current EQ's. Play with frens, so that you will have a sidekick.

Reason we told u to power leveling until lvl 60 quickly cuz by dat time u will try inferno and u will shitbrixx. So, u will want to change ur build by then and during that time, i can say most of item for inferno compatible is quite expensive.

Buying to improve your toon b4 lvl 60 is ok, but just dont be too IMBA or OP before reach lvl60. Imagine you spent alot of gold b4 reach lvl60/inferno and finally you regret cuz u realized your gear is not compatible to play in inferno.

But pls remember, in the end, it is up to you to choose your playing style. We can only suggest.

Im lvl 45 and for now just buy Magic equips (STR & Vit) from AH.. couldnt afford those Rare equips gold balance 150k. My barb can do 1k DPS and have 12k HP only

Dont know if my Char can get those high HP and DPS when reach lvl 60.

if you can keep up with your current difficulty, just go with the flow. But if you can equip some GF item, dat will be a huge bonus i must say.

I still remember when i was at lvl 45-55, I ignore the GF item, yea I can keep up and kill mob easily, but I dont earn much gold. While my fren, he got some GF% and he is like starting to equip and maintan to equip GF item since his at lvl 40++. He is filthy richer than me when both of us reach lvl60. And fact is, I must thanks to him cuz when ever I play with him, I will leech some of his GF%. If i play solo, I wont get much gold.

Spent gold wisely is a crucial in D3. I believe u will see your gold balance growing from time to time, especially when u reach lvl 60 later. Dont worry, we all experienced all dat before
