Barb reporting in

mostly going for max dps build...not much of a tank =D just wanna see things exploded

managed to reach +73dps in beta with 2 rare sickle and +str on all eq

Barb here, im doing hammer smash build for early game..most probably change on higher lv...bash with extra dmg + hammer smash with extra dmg...easier to kill creature

Currently level 23 barbarian, this is currently the leveling build I am using

Open with Leap (Iron Impact rune is awesome, it turns you into a tank for a couple of seconds), followed by Ground Stomp, Rend, and Cleave. Reapply Rend when it expires.
Lay down an Earthquake for maximum dps (for runes, I'd recommend Chilling Earth or The Mountain's Call)

Bash with Clobber rune is amazing on boss fights, if you time your ground stomp and bash stuns right, you can basically stunlock the boss

Really packs a punch, but quite squishy(personal preference of dual wielding)..

I see your spec. I use a similar one.

1. Ground stomp, i use Wrenching smash, so that i get to pull all them suckas into my rend range.
2. For the Rend, i use the Bloodlust rune instead of the ravage rune, since with bloodlust i gain lots of healing.(btw what is normal range of rend and revenge? both have similar graphic.)
3. Threatening shout with Intimidate rune to slow down and kite them.
4. bread and butter cleave with reaping swing to gain as much fury as possible.
5. Revenge with vengence is mine to gain health and fury at the same time, so if you get hit, you basically have self heal and fury to dps moar.


It is very nice to use this spec when fighting boss that summons extra adds which drops health pots when they die. Can fight the Magada after i tried many times. Of course the Ground stomp timing is very important. Battle shout, rend then pew with cleave couple times before running off.

Now at level 31, I am using an almost similar build but with minor changes

1) Ground Stomp with Trembling Stomp rune for extra damage
2) Call of the Ancients is good to take some aggro off you, and the ancients themselves do really decent damage
3) Also now, for single target fights, I use Frenzy with Triumph rune

im currently using 2h..looks nice but like not really pwning leh on act 2.. maybe my lvl too low liao there lol

Lvl 15, act 2. Using 1h+1h, yes kinda hard, I start slowing my progress edi, spaming lvl now
