wanna ask did you guys use any skills to escape an aoe spell?

eg belial's poo, diablo's cage, etc

i always kena hit...and the dash doesnt dash far if i dont aim mob.

i use serenity for diablo cage, same to belial's poo lol

its avoidable..one u know the pattern,,

I already prepared for major nerf on monk . As of now its too unbalance making monk too imba tank
at the moment getting high resistance easily while barb looking like a loli in inferno...

guys, when u hunt for items in AH, what's the main stats u look for in ur equipment? from weapon to armor to rings and necklace

ok dex is a must for monk, besides that? what's the best u look at in equipment? what's crucial for a monk to have in its item build?

for me, i look for:

1) +Dex
2) +vitality
3) life on kill/hit
4) life steal
5) attack speed


guys share ur builds

dex, vit, str socket, dmg

armor
dex
vit
str
+armor
atk speed

LOL yeah more str more armor, even more than barb will ever have since my dex also contribute to armor for my passive
i couldnt care less for lifesteal and life on hit/kill since my aura is good enough for that. but then again i'm just finishign act 1 nightmare still a long way to go

... =P (still nm mode only ahahah... died a few times already, because of lag/botched pull)

there's a passive where all your resistance is equal to your highest resistance... you just need to buy/find gears with only one type of resistance and use this passive to resist them all. You coupled that with 100% dexterity ---> armor passive + 15% dodge chance dual wield or 25% DR to enemies you hit, you can be quite tanky

agree...but that if u are tanking...if healer? i would go for transcendence and seize the initiative and one passive of ur choice

lvl 35 with such stats:

Str: 131
Dex: 831
Int: 42
Vit: 256

k. level 48 er. i think ......... LOL i can't remember my level wan la, with 1.2k DPS + 13k HP and I'm having problem defeating Tyreal's lieutenant.

I had absolutely no problem solo-ing Belial (2 attempts) and Azmodal (1 attempt) but this Act IV mini-boss took more than 15 attempts already.

change passive to 75% when freeze ?

freeze is not a problem to begin with. I'm just getting whacked.

and I think some of my deaths were due to lag. suddenly the fella appear next to me and hit me, which I don't recall he can do that.

i can do 1/4 damage successfully, so gonna try it when there's lesser lag. 8:50am i think a lot of people checking e-mail and FB in office la.

i'm using serenity, so keep whacking him for few seconds and then run around. shouldn't be a problem IMO, i just suspect it's a lag issue.

hmm..yesterday wen raid with party at nightmare mode..i notice besides tanking i cant do anything much yet..haha been reading thru post here hope i can get some idea bout my build..btw i notice the increase dodge skill dont reli dodge much when activated meanwhile when its not activated i dodge much more 0.0

if you want to go healing type, than you can swap out the last with transcendence + using mantra of healing with the first rune (more HPS), yes.

the passive I recommended is if you want to be a bit tanky in higher difficulty, where sometime you need resistance as well as armor. For that, you can also swap out mantra of healing rune to the last one (resistance increased by 20%) instead of more HPS.

EDIT: Comment my build please. Using a two-hander polearm, 3k HP. 600ish dps. Enchantress/Scoundrel follower (depending on my mood)

FoT + Teleport
Chuck Norris' roundhouse kick + Fire damage
Heal + increased damage for 45sec
Dashing strike + reduced spirit
7-sided strike + teleport rune
Mantra of Healing + more HPS rune

Passives

Transcendence
Chant of Resonance (might change this to more dodge chance if I can get 2 1-hander with decent spirit regen, using 2-hander atm)
Seize the initiative (50% DR without using a shield <3)

hi, my dps at level 30 is 200++ only. Shall i look for better equipment ?

regarding the above post - I manage to pass it already. hehe. looks like about 10:30am people finish checking mail / fesbuk / other stuff, then go out for appointment already. less lag, manage to survive!
