You really still need to take a swipe at Kenny? After he's gone you still have it in for him after all he's done? Maybe you weren't watching but Kenny's Liverpool side didn't play the route 1 football with a flat, fixed 4-4-2 formation Hodgson's side did. Kenny was all about pass and move which is broad in its definition but it did mean we at least created chances, something we struggled to do even under Rafa.

Seriously, FairPlay if you want to criticise his tactics and choice of players when he was still at the helm but to still take a cheeky swipe at him after he's gone is disrespectful and if you don't agree that he deserves respect, we have no reason to speak further.

you are being serious? the press was full of praises of roy when he sign with LFC and you know what happened.

though i'm no way categorized rogers with roy.. but all the press' praises on rodgers mean shite until he proven himself while KD doesn't need to proves himself to anyone.. at least not to LFC fans.

i think he will be sack by the end of season.. then we will be start searching for a new manager again, perhaps we will get martinez that time, oh and maybe he will last for a season as well, then again, we will be looking a new one..

process will be going on and on, isn't it wonderful? we will beat chelsea's record on hiring and firing a manager soon, well, we can't beat them on the pitch at least we can look forward to beat them on this record. =)

Kenny may have his faults but at the time, he was the right appointment. If I were to travel back in time, I distinctively remember almost everyone I know calling for him to save us from Hodgson. Kenny managed to stabilise the dressing room, revitalise morale and took us upwards after being 3 points off the relegation zone with half a season gone. I'd bet my bottom dollar that some of the same fans that had called for his return, also turned on him a year later. Whether or not he would have proven to be a good long term appointment is subjective since a year is hardly long term. I think at that time, FSG were right to listen to the fans.

Now, it remains to be seen what kind of impact Rodgers will have on the squad but once again, I'm willing to be patient. Every young manager needs a big break and Liverpool may just be his. I have concerns over how he will work under 3 bosses however given that he has been quoted as saying he wants full control. Will they allow his a free hand or will they interfere? Also, do we have the right sort of players to play his brand of football? He likes to use the wings which we'll need to strengthen. He likes to pressure from the top and the only player I've seen press high up the pitch consistently last season was Suarez. Not even Stevie does that. He likes his midfield trio to be constantly on the move, passing and receiving the ball. Movement isn't something I'd associate Charlie Adam with. He'll be losing players to Euro and potentially the Olympics and I don't know if he'll have enough time to work with the team before the new season begins.

I'd prefer Gerrard sit deeper with Aquaman (provided he stays with us) further up the park. I think he'll thrive in Rodger's system of play. In the times that I've seen him near the opposition box, he's been composed, tidy and sharp. I see him as the pivot up front, not Stevie who as I said earlier, is more the lung bursting, blood and guts type player. If anything, we use Aquaman as the focal point in midfield with Stevie playing off him, looking to make runs at the opposition goal.

Stop moaning about the past when we sold Tor for 50 mil.......all hedged to the purchase of Carroll. 

Again the purchase price is hedged to Tor's selling price......plus Tor wanted out in the last minute of JANUARY.

yes..big wages hurt will affect our cash flow.... unless our stadium is 60k+, we have to control wages.

aquilani might fit with the system..but......seem he doesnt want to stay at liverpool..
