Better stay with Kenny. no?

We're an old fashion club, where you put your heart into the game and play for the club. We don't pay a large amount of wages to players to keep them there, we pay players who WANTS to play for the club not for the money.

You haven't heard about it ? Billie Bean was the one who introduced moneyball in baseball. Apparently, him and Comolli go way back and it was Billie who recommended Comolli to Henry.

I think it's so much of our failure to be in top 4 and more to do with the fact that we were out of top 4 contention in January. Whilst it's true that we're only 6 points away from Rafa's first season in charge, back then we had extra games to play in the Champion's League. Perhaps if we've finished 5th or 6th in the league, the owners would be more sympathetic.

All of that are speculation though, I personally think FSG came into the club with their own plan. They wanted to bring in a relatively young manager, which is why the permanent appointment of Kenny was delayed until the final weeks of the season. Unfortunately, neither did Kenny nor Comolli impressed this season and they had to act quickly and revert to their original plan. It's a shame that someone with Kenny's reputation had to walk after a season and a half, but if the owners stopped backing him, there's really no point dilly-dallying.

Question is, I may be wrong and it is indeed instant results they are expecting. If that's true, then we are in for a long rollercoaster ride folks.

The club moved on without shankly,paisley,keegan,dalglish,fowler,owen and torres.

If you cannot believe in the club's future then you should stop supporting lfc.

So it's ok for you to tell other people to support city and chelsea but when other people tell you to support another club it's wrong?

I respect what AVB tried to do at Chelsea, phasing out older players. Thought he should have been given more time which as we know is a rare commodity these days. My concern is that he could not win over the dressing room at Stamford Bridge. Will he be able to do so at Anfield?

If AVB gets the nod, will he bring back Meireles? LOL

To date, either the manager or his no.2 have had ties with the club to varying degrees. Was having a discussion with a friend looking at less glamorous options who may be a tad bit unrealistic. A former player with some coaching experience and is a Kop idol despite just being at Anfield for 2 seasons and ranked no.32 on the list of Players Which Shook the Kop - Gary McAllister. His last job was as assistant to Houllier at Villa. He likes the club and is well respected amongst the playing fraternity. Markus Babbel is another well respected former Red who is currently a no.2 in the Bundesliga. Just took over at Hoffenheim. Prior to that he enjoyed a 54% win percentage with Hertha Berlin.

anyway, this man will always be loved and welcome at Anfield...
as for FSG...lets see what kind of owners they are...

I will miss his beaming smile whenever we scored a goal. No one celebrates a Liverpool goal better than the King!!
