firstly, we dispose KK for Rodgers. That is quite a shocker already. KK was given 1.5 season to prove himself, this comes with the weight of his credential. how long will rodgers got? 4 defeats and we will see fans carrying banners already, like steve keane (btw, their fans were right in the end about SK). the morale of the team will not presevere as when KK is in charge. what then, another flight to boston and new speculations on who will take over?

its not because of rodgers that he will sell these players. but as players, like reina, skertel, suarez,...etc will they stay? even if we make great leap into 4th, do you see these players staying (liverpool is not exactly london - i know been there) and play for LFC till the eve of their career? do you see rodgers able to steal good players into LFC?

what we need is a manager with both european and premier league experience. manager who is "bigger" than the players who can hold the players together and achieve great things. i dont see rodgers able to hold together these players...yet. not now, when we are at 8th.

but of then, if its going to be rodgers, then i would prefer to see Luis Van gaal or Rafa as the sporting director, at least these 2 could hold them together.

btw, i dont expect pep or avb. Rafa to me would be a better replacement, follow by LVG, Fabio Capello or Klopp. Fantasy manager would be Guus Hiddink!

i think he will be sack by the end of season.. then we will be start searching for a new manager again, perhaps we will get martinez that time, oh and maybe he will last for a season as well, then again, we will be looking a new one..

process will be going on and on, isn't it wonderful? we will beat chelsea's record on hiring and firing a manager soon, well, we can't beat them on the pitch at least we can look forward to beat them on this record. =)

Your buddy Max_07, whom you like to refer to says English players are crazily overpriced. When someone says "Overpriced" in football transfer dealings and in whatever tangible geomarket nowadays, by definition it mean that the quality and value does not justify the amount of money spent on it.

Which is exactly what I have been pointing out all along.

The point of debate here is Kenny/Commoli or even Paul Tomkins think he's worth that much is the main reason why the first two got sacked by the club. And I'm not talking only about Carroll. It's the whole transfer dealings on the Brit brigade that costed them their jobs.

You are right in the sense that the price is indirectly hedged to Torres's transfer fee, but again, THERE's nothing positive came out of it and there's a thing I can relate to our club from this dealing, it only made us look more foolish for paying up the jacked up fees.

"Oh FSG earned from the Torres and Carroll dealings. Oh FSG didn't use a dime at all!"

I mean who cares man, core of the issue is we splashed the cash on overrated players. AND that's what we should prevent from happening in the future.
