Anybody buy insurance for windscreen? I bought for my whitey cos scared kena stone. And to replace it damn expensive cos got sensor.
Just sharing cos my mum car kena flying stone at highway, one long crack about 40-50cm.

Bros and Sis (??)... collecting my whitey at 7pm later. Already get everything from JPJ and proton pdi.

Haha.. hope everything is fixed, not expecting perfect car but at least functional wise should work well. Things like welding point i dont mind.
Damn so excited now!!

Got my whitey around 7pm. Something i notice about my car:
1. Paint chip off near right side font lamp
2. Boot very hard to close
3. Boot suddenly open when driving. Need stop roadside and close. So paiseh.
4. Sluggishness is still there, my chassis 19xx. Power only come above 1.5k rpm. Very noticeable when go uphill with speed bumps (my house).
5. A little jerking below 1k rpm.
6. When car cruising and let go throttle, got helicopter sound. Those that drive manual before will know wat i mean.
7. Gear light very dim even set brightness to max. At night can only see R and N.
8. Engine sound quite loud.
9. Fuel lid feel light and cheap
Other than these, handling was good, brake no problem, boot remote release was fine. Door weld was tidy. Will update after drive more.

something more i noticed:
1. rear demister button at HU always light on.
2. manual fold side mirror button at driver side no light.
can anyone confirm?

below 2k sure can move, auto car ma. gliding la. if want pickup need rev until 1.5k or 2k rpm.
i feel like when going downhill, the gear braking very "tight". dunno how to explain. is like the engine revving at 1st gear (if manual car). almost dont need apply brake.
and also, 80km/h just at 1.5k when cruising. my old HERO 90km/h already 3k.
i guess 1 sentence to sum up my driving experience so far: its like driving manual car automatically.

edit: bros how is the status of Prevoc road tax sticker? should i wait for it before stick my roadtax?

paint chip off can touch up at SG? my paint chip off a bit and SA ask me need bring back to them for touch up. if SG can do it then i dun need take leave 2 days.

my boot lid auto open again this morning. i dun dare put anything in the boot until they fix it. scared travel on highway fly out and cause accident. :s
btw, found another defect when removing the plastic seat covers yesterday. the left side seat when fold down (the 40 one) cannot lock back. the other side the longer (60) one is OK.
changing lane signal works everytime when left signal, but right signal sometimes not working. dunno is my hand or wat..
tried S mode with paddle shift last night. dunno why sometimes i need to pull 2 times before gear change. and lets say i am at 2.5k rpm gear #5, i upshift to gear #6 and rpm drop to 2k. but a few moments later on the same speed, same flat road, the rpm will increase again to 2.5k and i need to upshift again. why the gear no stay at 2k rpm gear #6? why it drop back gear #5? :s
maybe i am noob. can some sifu teach me. thanks.

i pump rm50 add on to the rm10 that SA pump = rm60. travel 2 days now left 2 levels. only 125km.
10% highway 90% city (crawl at KL seremban highway and jln tun razak every morning and evening.)

i din check yet at 2 bar. but when i pump my rm50, it show 316km. not forgetting there exist around rm10 petrol inside.
i think if u got stuck in a lot of jam, u cant count this way. idling time also consume petrol ma. and uphill downhill those factor, how much u rev, etc. it is just computation by the car.

guys pls drive safely on the road. dun try to pwn this car and that car. feel bad when reading about peoples lives lost in road accident.
airbag is secondary restraint system, primary is to buckle up, abs ebd tc which can help u prevent accident. and of cos drive within the laws of jalan raya.
part of reason i changed my HERO to this CFE is because of safety features. (ok i admire the looks also la....) i have a 6month old baby myself, and i always drive extra careful when my family is on board.
damn that accident news u guys shared just ruined my mood. but is a good lesson and reminder to all of us.
