30 April - apply loan

8 May - loan approved and booked Blue Lagoon CFE. being told that waiting period is about 1-2 months. I was like "hmm.. ok.. as long as I can get my car before Raya"

17 May (today) - take my time to bank to sign loan agreement. suddenly my SA called me said got someone cancel his booking and it's a BLUE LAGOON. SA told me the car is mine if I want (of course la I want badly.. apa la punya SA). Went to his showroom and straight away pay down payment. Now he said, he gonna get a plate number for my Preve. If can settle tomorrow, I can bawak balik latest by Saturday. Or if tak sempat, early next week.. HOORAYY!!!

gonna change from sleep mode to high performance mode in this thread..

How many banks u submit your loan to? your problem is you don't have credit record/history right? if that's the case, seriously it's hard to get any loan approved especially when you work with small company. Self employed even worse. My suggestion is apply for a credit card. Spend on easy payment scheme for example buying a smart TV by CC and make it 12 months easy payment. That's what I did when I got my first job.

normally bank will give you 30-60 days if not mistaken. Your SA just want to make the process faster so that he/she can earn the commission faster also..

Actually bank will reject immediately if tak layak. It's very unsual to drag the loan process too long. Do you have the bank officer contact? I'd suggest you deal with the officer yourself like what I did.
