ur case rite.. got possibility that ur SA go and gip u the car but actually already belong to someone else OR someone else pull rank and take it from her. but good news is at least your bank loan not yet jalan yet. i believe the moment they take the money from the bank your loan start counting d. So you can actually call the bank agent and find out what is the status now. And did they use the old chassis number to take the bank loan. If they did... might be a good option for a law suit. Since they also consider con the bank....
i dont think the bank will release the loan to your SA. u have to sign the document when u collecting the car from showroom together with the acceptant of the car.
his case is a bit weird because its so weird that once you pay your deposit and prepared all sufficient document for Loan. SA will submit your application to bank with 1-3 days. once bank receive the application it will pass for processing. first they will check your record on all the financial system for any "bad record".
once checking clear. they will call and verify your employer and borrower details to confirm those details are correct. if everything without problem. loan will be approve with 2-3 days and they will inform your SA that your loan status.
SA will place an order to car manufacturer and pending car manufacturer to allocate unit for you. once allocation done. manufacturer will inform SA and SA will confirm with buyer. once buyer confirm SA will inform manufacturer to lock down the unit and proceed some documentation and payment. getting a car in a week is highly possible if loan fast approval, ready stocks. take note.... most payment to manufacturer are actually "prepaid" so once your prepaid balance is lower than what u ordered. it will stop the processing but that car unit is locked to them until shop have money cash in again. this is why 1 of the forummer here booked later also can get a number 16** mainly because that unit is locked at manufacturer but shop have not enough cash to pay manufacturer. wait until the shop have money to pay manufacturer but the buyer waited too long and cancel the order.
once all the payment to manufacturer and documentation done. manufacturer will proceed to sent the car to respective shop. once shop received the car they will proceed call buyer to get ready the D/P and ask for registration of car details like no/ plate and so on. this is why if u are so free... u can get those document from your SA and proceed the registration yourself. or else SA will hire running to do it for u and they charge u RM50 - RM100 extra per registration.
once everything done. agent will call u back and arrange time to complete the transaction.
next thing, u get ready the D/P. go to the showroom and inspect your car. if everything no problem. you will pay the D/P and sing the loan documents and the car acceptant agreement.
please take note, the moment your SA call u to confirm allocation of car available for u and u said yes.... that car will be virtually bellong to u. so even u found anything tak ngam when u inspecting it at showroom. u dont wanna sign the acceptant agreement. u have no right anymore. thats because that engine already registered under your name and u are the owner by law. what they normally will ask u is take the car and go services center complain what u feel like not ngam....
the above is the process. might leave out something but it should be the whole pictures.
