The thread growth so fast even didn't online this 2 days. I have went to tg. sepat to celebrate my girl mother days with her family, saw 2 Preve here during yesterday dinner session 1 X preve number plate start with BLR XXXX and another preve white number plate start with WWTXXXX (executive variant).

4th days since after i got my car till today, i noticed that there were "Tak" sound each time when i push start my car. I heard the sound came from the gearbox panel, is it a normal for a car when push start? Have anyone of you experience this sound?

I also experience that my car fuel consumption is high, about 26-30/L during the town drive, i remember earlier when i pumped a full tank at RM83, i only manage to reach 303KM++ before the next full tank refill, the petrol balance indicate that i still can drive about 40KM++

Since after full tank RM85 refill last wednesday night, 2 days town drive to works + tg. sepat drive until now, i manage to reach 320KM plus petrol indicator stated that i still have remaining 60KM to drive before my next petrol refill.

Just wonder, is that normal that my car behave in such situation?

Sometimes, i just noticed that the air bag indicator light pop up from the display panel during the drive and it suddenly goes off and on again. After drive for about 10km, the air bag indicator light disappear and return back to normal.

In terms of fuel consumption, the merc is higher due to bigger engine. I believe the preve fuel consumption will get better after higher mileage.

The merc fuel consumption in mixed condition about 11-12L/100km and on highway about 9 to 10L/100km.

The fog light is meant to be very bright as it is used for foggy/snowy and heavy rain condition where viewing distance is very limited. It should not be used during normal day.

I think better bring in to service center for checking, how is vthe fuel consumption?

Anyone managed to solve wind sound @c pillar ??

The fan sound is ok but the a/c compressor sound is exactly like helicopter sound, damm loud n irritating.  

Few issues need to highlight with my new baby:

1. My A/C button is quite difficult to turn off. Have to press it a couple of times for it to switch off.

2. Wind noise in front of co-driver seat after driving more than 120-130km/h. First couple of days after taking the car no noise but yesterday heard the noise.

3. My USB port are not working.

4. My NVH isn't that great. In fact i can safely say that my Gen-2 is more quieter than my Preve. Can i ask the tech in SC to check? I test drive the test drive car and its quiter than mines..hmmm

5. Alignment run to the left hand side. Does SC Glenmarie does alignment?

6. Front absorber have these 'ekk ekk' sound when i run through a hump.

Only this issues at the moment. The rest is good.

Just received SMS from SA, the chassis number is 167* early batch, not sure want to take it or not.

The wind noise in my car sounds like it comes from the front instead of the back.
Had that boot popup episode the other day...terkejut aku... Hahaha...
And last but not least...we do need to press hard on the accelerator to have the car move forward...then dengar the engine mengerang...macam kena paksa...
