Anyway, instead of paying RM300++ for a reverse cam, I'd recommend that you spend the money on a in-car camera, those that point to the front of the car and records while you drive.
*
Can tell what is the purpose of front facing camera?
Can record the footage as evidence once having an accident? hmm.gif
Please tell me more... drool.gif

Regarding earlier video, what is the problem?
The car "auto drive" out of the sudden?
What car was that?

QUOTE(Saya_Dhuang @ May 15 2012, 03:22 PM)
That one so far is confirmed by our member Junn if not mistaken. As Gigabit said, it definitely will void warranty. Void warranty here means if you use it for 1 year & suddenly there's a bubble here & there, Eco-Tint won't have it repaired for u since there's another layer on it. Thus it's kinda risky.
*
What do you think if I change the front and rear tint to a better one?
Will it void warranty for the entire car's tint (4 side windows)?
Logically, they should still cover the 4 windows since I didn't touch them. hmm.gif

They usually over state the price one, if it's 3k plus ppl would go to 3M or V-KOOL, you'll be surprised how much is the ori price of all these so called superior tints  wink.gif
*
Agreed! rclxms.gif
3K+ we can get US imported tint I think... biggrin.gif

Nice bro. FInally got your car eh? Huhu.. Damn jelly liao.. Now one by one ppl will start to less angry with PE other than Me, WhiTELiGhTeR, Zephyr, and just a chunk of us... Wuu, so sad sad.gif
*
Me also haven't got my car... sad.gif

I drive past the showroom where I booked mine, I saw a Silver CFE there without registration plate.
Then I call my SA if that is my car, SA immediately replied No, that wasn't my car and that car came with the wrong chassis number. (I have no idea what he mean wrong chassis number!)
After 2 days, the Silver CFE still there at the same location, don't know what happened?
Anyway, my SA promised 3 weeks to 1 month which still haven't past 1 month since I book, so I have no complain on him just yet.

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ May 15 2012, 10:08 PM)
yes this does seems to be a widespread problem. can those who have it fixed at SC please report in to let me know the status. I would like to add this in the FP. tq
*
I've used to DIY to rectify minor problem like this, so it is not a problem to me.
I even rather DIY to fix it rather than queuing up at SC for this minor latch adjustment. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(acwatzzup @ May 15 2012, 11:06 PM)
just bought plate number today~ hopefully the car can be arrive within 1 month sad.gif
*
You can extend the validity by another 1 month with RM10 or RM20. No problem! smile.gif
I also handed over my number plate receipt to my SA, will ask him to pay for it if need extension, haha.....

I believe, there's no explanation for this that will justify why it happen to us, the prebookers..their (Proton) whole booking & allocation system is simply terrible from the start..& surely they will not admit it (their weaknesses)  mad.gif It's ashamed that Proton commit themself to be better (in their widely advertised tagline) & produce a global car..but cannot simply make it right locally. How on earth they will success globally if they cant even cater the domestic market?..i'm very2 sceptical on this  doh.gif
*
Maybe they care more on global market and let us local ppl wait? Something like, they spend more resource and man power for the export, then for local, simply let us fucuk lo?

Sir WhitE LighteR, you can "upgrade" me to the Date of Owners Receiving their new car list when you have free time blush.gif

Collected the car this evening...
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I am quite rush collecting the car after finished working and with empty stomach... wacko.gif
Some more, during the rush hour, I can't even drive faster than 80km/h, only tomorrow I can really test the car for wind noise etc...

But for the "sluggish" issue, at least to me, it is totally gone! After the test drive about a month ago, I said my Persona more powerful and better pickup, but this car totally different than the test drive unit! I was a little bit worried about less power and more "sluggish" than my Persona, but today it totally shocked me (honestly!) and I even need to control my foot by stepping more politely. Maybe they adjusted the pedal spring to become softer?

Imagine stepping on the pedal and my body getting stick to the seat, almost lost control for the first time and my kids almost fall down at the backseat! sweat.gif
Yes it still have very little delay from releasing brake then step on the pedal, but it is absolutely no more horror experience at the road junction, this is my surprise!

If I'm not mistaken, the grills next to front fog lamp this time have cover (with some small holes) at both right and left sides. Anyway, I will further confirm this tomorrow as I live in condo, lazy to walk to the car park right now. tongue.gif

I do notice one thing: Driving at low speed (inside car park) and when I quickly remove my foot from the pedal, I can feel the car shaking a little bit, the feeling is like the gearbox downshifting too quickly and cause this, but I'm not sure, have to further test it and maybe asking around to confirm this.

Will share more of my finding about this car in future.

Wahhh! Got your car already. Congratz. thumbup.gif  I am jealous now. Glad to hear that you have no problem with the sluggishness. Btw what's your chassis number. More than 3000+?? and have you decide to do any coating? No shop to do SG in Penang. what to do  sad.gif
*
Thank you! biggrin.gif
Yup too bad no SG workshop in Penang! cry.gif
By the way, really surprised by the power compare to the test drive unit! sweat.gif
Edit: my chassis number is 3785 smile.gif

any SG alternatives in pg?? cant sleep well because tmr will be my day  rclxms.gif
*
If you don't mind alternative, this workshop do PPS coating, but I heard from other Prevoc member here mentioned you have to go back here to do "maintenance" every 6 months and it probably cost RM100 for each "maintenance". dry.gif

Firstly, congrats Bro GK Lai.. Among the earliest Previan in Penang i guess.
*
Thanks Dhuang Dhuang tongue.gif
I've seen a few Preve here in Penang already, but maybe they are not LYN member, hahaha... laugh.gif

The blades in the air-con vent, it make rattling noise if the blower are set to a bit high (in fact, only set to half).
Maybe I've get used to this sound in my Persona, so I almost don't care about this... laugh.gif

Regarding late delivery, maybe we must book from dealer or SA with good reputation, or the dealer with a strong background (rich big boss!).
This strange dealer (or SA) done everything including JPJ registration, then only I handover my Persona to the used car dealer.
Used car dealer then issue cheque to SA, we go back showroom and he explain everything about the car to me, give me the keys etc...
Then only we go in their office to sign document and settle the down payment thing.
I would rate them as "hassle free" and easy dealing with them. smile.gif
