Trust me, Honda punya service expensive as hell. Compare the forte to civic, maintenence of forte is much much cheaper. if compare 5k to 5k service interval using semi synt.

and their policy is, even using FUlly synthethic, interval service is still 5k lol.. stupid money sucking policy.
*
Don't use fully syn lo, if you're not driving under extreme condition, it's gonna be placebo effect.

Fully synth is cheaper in long term, (except for honda)
*
Maybe they expect every Honda owner to open their VTEC every time they drive, so it's scheduled 5k interval, sayang your engine tongue.gif

Main reason to use fully is to avoid pying lbour chrge n oil filter twice and save time,to me la..
*
Yea I agree, I do that too, but I don't see Honda owners complain also, so no issue la. Expected, can pay that kind of price for the car it's expected.

My friend civic FC not so good also, but I never heard ppl complain. Expected, so as long as it falls under expectation, it's no problemo

ppl need to start appreciating the CAR itself for its features then the logo on them. haih..
stereotyping a car based on its brand in not cool. I drive forte, straight away friends say FC high la maintenence expensive la, cepat rosak.. sheeeshhh.. they are better then the civic in all those departments lol.
*
Haha, my Proton kena condemn also, uncle say lembut, I wonder how he gauge it. Anyway, what car also is a car, treat it good and nice, it should last for a long time

Car like waxed, water will bead.
Doesn't need to take so much care of the paintwork, just need to wash yourself once a while.

LOL, wash yourself la as in cuci kereta itu sendiri.

Anyway, I didn't do SG, I prefer wax myself, I already wax 2 times since I got my car, no thanks to the rain.

Potong ma.

You see the previous versions, as soon as a tiny, unconfirmed problem is reported of thr Preve, those bashers will pounce on us like vultures who found a free meal. Its like they lurk here just waiting for an opportunity to assert the superiority of their chosen rides.

Where got such thing in other brands?
*
I think they are still watching our thread, they know what you did last summer. laugh.gif

how possible to be turtle the car so heavy and stable..... unless it perform a 90 degree corner with 160kmph...
*
LoL, your arguement is invalid, there are many factors that can cause the car to turn turtle regardless of it's weight or stability, it's not the lowest center of gravity car as we speak.

I've seen a 350z turned turtle, if the owner is reckless, even a tank can turn turtle

You will end up getting 2 pink pieces of play doh when you visit SC on your next service.  laugh.gif

This I agree, some of the SC technician seems, hmm how to say, inadequate? Illiterate ? End up owners had to DIY here and there

QUOTE(torres09 @ May 17 2012, 09:00 AM)
my boot lid auto open again this morning. i dun dare put anything in the boot until they fix it. scared travel on highway fly out and cause accident. :s
btw, found another defect when removing the plastic seat covers yesterday. the left side seat when fold down (the 40 one) cannot lock back. the other side the longer (60) one is OK.
changing lane signal works everytime when left signal, but right signal sometimes not working. dunno is my hand or wat..
tried S mode with paddle shift last night. dunno why sometimes i need to pull 2 times before gear change. and lets say i am at 2.5k rpm gear #5, i upshift to gear #6 and rpm drop to 2k. but a few moments later on the same speed, same flat road, the rpm will increase again to 2.5k and i need to upshift again. why the gear no stay at 2k rpm gear #6? why it drop back gear #5? :s
maybe i am noob. can some sifu teach me. thanks.
*
Please get it fixed at SC, but call them first before go, not all can fix the boot lid issue, in fact not all can fix issue, some are just there to do minor stuff like change oil doh.gif

The seat, there is a locking mechanism, i tried mine it's ok for mine.

Change lane signal works also, so I'm not sure what's wrong with yours, maybe you can demonstrate to the SC technician.

The S mode if you leave it awhile i think it will become D again, it auto help you get the correct gear at the correct speed/rpm, do correct me if I'm wrong or if I got your question wrong. I need to read few times to understand it haha

Attitude of the higher up is different from those below. They didn't seem to share the same enthusiasm that DSZ have thus making them provide poor service to the customer. What they care is that they just work to get money by end of the month, that's it. Sad sad situation indeed
*
I got a complain, maybe a minor one, when I go service my car, at 1pm, all technician go makan. Cannot go one one shift by one shift? Must all makan together gether?

They never heard of shift rotation? doh.gif

All customers wait like "sohigh" there, I ask, where are them? Ooo runch time, all eat, you wait.

I sit there like lil piggy, peeping out the window wondering what's happening sad.gif

Even at COE it is the same, they go lunch all at the same time. At 1pm sharp, the huge workshop floor suddenly becomes deserted...
*
When I service my meevee, I didn't see the same thing wo, maybe it's the particular SC, but IMHO it's inefficient

Maybe it's just me icon_question.gif

Went to P2 SC last time other than Friday, they did have the shift rotation of who's going to eat first & who's staying first. Even Bank's back-end office got shift rotation. Damn making customer like lil piggy...
Like padang jarak padang tekukur already.. tongue.gif
*
So it's not just that particular P2 SC I've went too, if they call me for survey, I'm gonna highlight this to them.

Do anyone knows good SC that can do repair stuff around Cheras area beside the Desa Tun Razak one? They work like turtle. Make appointment but layan walk in also, what's the point of appointment then.

Appointment give priority 1st? hmm.gif
*
same shit, I had appointment at 10:15, reached 10:00, said I got appointment, ask me sit first, wait till 10:45 layan me, inform them my problems, continue sit, wait till 12:45, my car finally moved inside working garage. 1pm, all go eat, I ask them, runch time, very important, cannot work with empty stomach, ok. I'm there, no breakfast served, perut empty from morning till noon, friend told me go over to P2 makan next time, got nasi lemak and beehoon goreng.

No big deal bout food but no shift rotation is a lil weird, finally everything done, already 3 plus. I advise to those who wanna do normal service, avoid there at all cost.
