so i didnt manage to get my car, victor also passed the car to someone else already so i GG game.

Still, taking back my money and everything and find other dealer, anyone got any good recommendation?

not looking for dealer this time, i guess proton edar is better, any comment?

here are the few things that i really want to let you guys to know before buying any car from any proton dealers.

There are two type of dealer which is PBR and Non-PBR.
PBR = pay before registration

normally, those small dealer are those who don't pay for the car and use your loan to pay for the car therefore the production team from proton don't really give a fu*k to them while those bigger dealer they pay the car in cash before the car is registered so they got the priority lane for allocation.

remember, it's not about the size of the shop, it is the solidness of the company. Go for those big company SC or Dealer and deal with them. less excuses unlike me bump into the stupid dealer that they are those that got less model and don't pay first so allocation for them is after the bigger dealer one. Sometimes, when they got allocated the car, no one get the car then the bigger dealer will get a letter from proton and go to those smaller dealer and drive the car back. Power of cash flow in company reflects its services.

Anyway, i heard one of my friend's friend in COE that works as a service admin told me that preve got many problem. Many have went there for LED and Lights replacement.

Be alert too, majority preve buyers actually get showroom unit because he told me those people that go for service and he saw the car and chasis number, straight away know its chasis number is for test drive unit or showroom unit. So BEWARE. There's no way we can check only pray that your SA is trustable.

Under new Bank Negara law 8(402) should your car is yet to be allocated to you and be chasis number registered under your name, you can cancel loan, get back the deposit and YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY DOWN PAYMENT AT ALL. SA that ask for your Downpayment, please contact bank negara cause they are against the law. RM300k will be charged as penalty fees and RM100k for the SA themselve.

WHY SA want my DP?
so she/he could take ur dp and use your bank loan to pay for the car and you then cannot run away.

What should i do?
Contact your bank, stop the loan immediately and ask for refund. Tell them you havent got the car and the bank straight away know the SA already against the law of the reserved bank of malaysia.

Under the Hire Purchase Agreement or Undang Undang Perdagangan,

- Hire Purchase Agreement (Sewa Beli)
Hire refer to the "Hirer" which is our bank. Minumum of deposit is 10%. (some banks might higher up the percentage, depends on the deals)

- Bank Negara then reinforce the rules:
Under the new rules and regulation for automotive industries, only if the agreement stated the chasis number of your car, it must be then allocated to you. Should the car allocated to you and under the same chassis number, the loan will be proceeded. You then must pay the down payment during the car delivery. YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PAY ANY DOWN PAYMENT BEFORE YOU WERE ALLOCATED ANY CAR IN THE WRITTEN AGREEMENT.

- Undang Undang Perdagangan:
Deposit can now be forfeited should any of the contract be voided under the rules and regulations Akta 8 Seksyen 402. (Under written contract or not, once the consumers had signed the agreement with the given chassis number, the agreement would start its effectiveness immediately with the terms and conditions that the allocated cars' chassis number must be the same as the written agreement. If not, contract can be voided.

In my case, my S.A wrote and sent the agreement with my previous chassis number which is under another owner now. So the contract only effective under the chassis number but i didn't manage to get my car so it is automatically voided.

EDIT: FUHHLAMAK, lucky i got study business law and then do research abit about malaysia laws with some advice from my lawyer before i actually start paying him for this. anyway, he is doing this foc for me cause we friend friend

Best is to call iCare but i dont think it will help you tho cause it is based on the dealer after all. Your name is in the list, dealer no money to get the car for you, no point, you'll still have to wait.

Bro marquis, i know your feeling, i understand it, of course we were quite disappointed with the services we received but let just try out best to get the car from our S.A asap.

There is no such thing as they email the production team to deliver the car to them UNLESS the paid with cash already. Are you sure your branch did that already or just another grandmother story like my S.A?

CASH FLOW is the king bro regardless the size of the dealer, it's about the solidness.
