I can DIY for you. Your camera will be attached with double sided tape on the bootlid, then the wires will run outside of your car (sticked to the body with masking tape) then through your window, so you can never fully wind up your glass. The display will be attached to your windscreen with cheapo suction cup. Power supply via 12V battery.



No cutting wires, no drilling holes, warranty still intact!!  Only every time you need to connect the battery when you start the car.

Labour cost charge you RM10 la.

Any aftermarket parts installation in Proton usually is more expensive then outside.

Collected the car this evening...


I am quite rush collecting the car after finished working and with empty stomach... 
Some more, during the rush hour, I can't even drive faster than 80km/h, only tomorrow I can really test the car for wind noise etc...

But for the "sluggish" issue, at least to me, it is totally gone! After the test drive about a month ago, I said my Persona more powerful and better pickup, but this car totally different than the test drive unit! I was a little bit worried about less power and more "sluggish" than my Persona, but today it totally shocked me (honestly!) and I even need to control my foot by stepping more politely. Maybe they adjusted the pedal spring to become softer?

Imagine stepping on the pedal and my body getting stick to the seat, almost lost control for the first time and my kids almost fall down at the backseat! 
Yes it still have very little delay from releasing brake then step on the pedal, but it is absolutely no more horror experience at the road junction, this is my surprise!

If I'm not mistaken, the grills next to front fog lamp this time have cover (with some small holes) at both right and left sides. Anyway, I will further confirm this tomorrow as I live in condo, lazy to walk to the car park right now. 

I do notice one thing: Driving at low speed (inside car park) and when I quickly remove my foot from the pedal, I can feel the car shaking a little bit, the feeling is like the gearbox downshifting too quickly and cause this, but I'm not sure, have to further test it and maybe asking around to confirm this.

Will share more of my finding about this car in future.

here are the few things that i really want to let you guys to know before buying any car from any proton dealers.

There are two type of dealer which is PBR and Non-PBR.
PBR = pay before registration

normally, those small dealer are those who don't pay for the car and use your loan to pay for the car therefore the production team from proton don't really give a fu*k to them while those bigger dealer they pay the car in cash before the car is registered so they got the priority lane for allocation.

remember, it's not about the size of the shop, it is the solidness of the company. Go for those big company SC or Dealer and deal with them. less excuses unlike me bump into the stupid dealer that they are those that got less model and don't pay first so allocation for them is after the bigger dealer one. Sometimes, when they got allocated the car, no one get the car then the bigger dealer will get a letter from proton and go to those smaller dealer and drive the car back. Power of cash flow in company reflects its services.

Anyway, i heard one of my friend's friend in COE that works as a service admin told me that preve got many problem. Many have went there for LED and Lights replacement.

Be alert too, majority preve buyers actually get showroom unit because he told me those people that go for service and he saw the car and chasis number, straight away know its chasis number is for test drive unit or showroom unit. So BEWARE. There's no way we can check only pray that your SA is trustable.

Under new Bank Negara law 8(402) should your car is yet to be allocated to you and be chasis number registered under your name, you can cancel loan, get back the deposit and YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY DOWN PAYMENT AT ALL. SA that ask for your Downpayment, please contact bank negara cause they are against the law. RM300k will be charged as penalty fees and RM100k for the SA themselve.

WHY SA want my DP?
so she/he could take ur dp and use your bank loan to pay for the car and you then cannot run away.

What should i do?
Contact your bank, stop the loan immediately and ask for refund. Tell them you havent got the car and the bank straight away know the SA already against the law of the reserved bank of malaysia.
