The way RVP release the statement is dubious. It's like encouraging certain club to bid for him knowing that Arsenal financial situation means we cannot afford to lose him for free next season. It's like forcing the club to sell him now.

QUOTE(Walaoeh! @ Jul 6 2012, 02:38 PM) maybe Usmanov is backing all these star players to leave... lol This is definitely possible if you know that the agents of some of our players is from the agency of David Dein's son and David Dein is parnering with Usmanov..........

I still cannot understand why some fans rant on the board and the manager. RVP's statement was clearly a way to force the club to sell him so that he won't be looked like "betraying" the club and the fans.
I don't buy the "not ambitious" and "have different idea on how the club should move forward" claims. With Poldoski and Giroud in plus RVP himself, we already have the best strike force (bar Man City) in BPL. The defensive problem can also be solved largely by having a true DM (M'villa ??) and I believe AW is working towards signing one, whether it's M'villa or another player. With that, most fans are optimistic that we can challenge for BPL next season.
AFC deserved better from RVP because of all the faith and patience the Club and manager have had with him in the past 8 years where he spent almost half of the time in the treating room.

QUOTE(Unomi @ Jul 7 2012, 10:47 PM) As a personal thoughts , van persie leave because he wanted to win trophies same goes to nasri and fab... I dont understand why fans are criticizing him because he wanted leave, if im a good football player , i do want to have a personal achievement in life. IE Winning trophies... We are not criticising him for wanted to leave.... but it's on the manner he released the statement.
