Giroud told French newspaper L'Equipe: 'Why did I choose Arsenal rather than Chelsea? Because it is a club I love. And I thought it would be easier for my adaptation.

getting a fcuking captain that will never leave. Not even Vermaelan to me, he looks prone to leave soon too.
Someone like Song, Szcseny, someone low profile. Oh yeah, rvp publicly announcing he is gonna leave just make it worst. Unlike Fabregas until the very last moment or make conclusion and agreed by entire Arsenal board/ Wenger before leaving. And worst, this came right after Wenger said Arsenal will never sell v.persie |

nah once RvP said that, i doubt it's possible to backout anymore.
For a captain of Arsenal who really depended a lot on him to said that shit just destroyed the club completely again. Now every Arsenal players will just look and say hey if i play one year really well, i could do the same shit and give the same reason too. Not to mention, the club will be less attractive now. Walcott, Vermaelan, and all the other goodies that u can think off could be doing or thinking the same thing right now. I don't know but selling him now could be really ideal since who the fcuk knows if this guy got injured in his last year contract. Yeah, 8 years as Arsenal, 7 years probably playing with the nurse, 1 year with Arsenal and boom bye bye guys, i am taking off now. Really piss with this especially when the board and Wenger gave reassurance that they will never sell v.persie |

QUOTE(smellyfish @ Jul 5 2012, 07:41 PM) henry is like 1 out of a billion unfortunately, and walcott is not even close to him or at least our current playersJust hope Giroud can really fill the void or get another good signing Meanwhile, with RvP possibly leaving this improve chances of Park to play too. |

QUOTE(imin @ Jul 6 2012, 12:20 PM) guys why all the doom & gloom? the're only 2 explanation why rvp doesn't extend his contract and released the statements that made all arsenal fans went berserk. and although hard believe to believe it, he did this is because he loves arsenal. the weed is strong in herebefore that, keep in mind that u read all of this here first the 1st explanation why he doesn't extend his contract.... yet. yes, i said yet, because early next week he's going to make a u-turn and extend his contract. this is actually only a drama so that fans will know what kinds of un-ambitious board that arsenal has, and to give false hope to man city 2nd explanation is because rvp actually has a kind of rare disease (the kind that won't be detected by normal medical checkup football players do), that will actually destroy his football career, as early as within a year or two. that's why he doesn't extend his contract at arsenal, fearing that arsenal will suffer financial losses due to his supposed-to-be-new-sky-high salary. and the hope that some other clubs will buy him from arsenal for quite a sum, is the way he repays arsenal for all the faith given to him all these years. that's the only 2 explanation on this current scenario now. believe it or not, it will be known soon.. ok, there's actually a 3rd explanation, while it's the most unlikely, but it is still plausible: rvp wants to quite arsenal to play abroad, most probably in spain. the reason is because of this: HOLLAND IS GOING TO INVADE UK. rvp doesn't want to be in UK at that time for obvious reasons: he's not going to help holland invade a place where his loved club arsenal are, and at the same time he doesn't want to be a betrayer to his country. again, u heard of all this, here first |
