Surprisingly, u had enormous amount of phone bills, utilities and groceries user which amount to over RM 1,000.
I think u came from big family, sorry dude!

BTW, dining at restaurants is not considered as commitment. It is regarded as spending and it is avoidable. whistling.gif

Ok, example: in one household, TNB 400-500, TM Streamyx 180-200, FAMILY CELCOM & MAXIS 500-600, WATER 20-50, IWK 20, ASTRO 150.
That would easily cost RM1000. You do not have such commitment perhaps your dad and mom pay it for you.

So your CC would just use for petrol, dining, shopping, redbox, etc.

I rarely shopping.

Petrol i will fill on weekend via MBB2 AMEX, the overflow of 1k all charge to MBB MASTERCARD.

Anyone knows how the new bill payment rebate (10% for each month plus additional 5% at the 3rd month) works?
Questions:
1) Is the additional 5% on top of current 5% also based on statement date?
2) Does auto-billing eligible?
3) Is monthly max payout still capped at RM50 like normal?
4) Is the additional 5% on 3rd month still capped at RM50 like normal?

If it is still capped at RM50 per month, then it makes no difference for me...sad.gif

Added on June 30, 2012, 12:33 pmFYI, it's a total of RM70 rebate (max).

1) yes
2) no, i dun think so, must be paid through ocbc portal
3) monthly payout for normal rebate still rm50, but for this additional 5%, it's capped at additional rm20 itself
4) the additional special 5% (only for 3 month) has another cap at rm20 on it own, if i understand correctly... so its normal rebate cap at rm50, additional 5% rebate (july till sept) cap at rm20 per month, special additional 5% rebate (only on 3rd month) cap at rm20
*
that means the third month 15% is also capped at RM20?? Why not they say 100%, but capped at RM20!! Celaka punya Bank!!
Useless promotion for those who having bills over RM200/months.

Spent at overseas, called to OCBC call centre ask for the conversion after received an SMS regarding the spending. They said it's this figure on the phone, but when received statement, it's a round figure being adjusted. They charge extra compared to what the personnel told me on phone call.

What can I do?

5% bonus is only at the last month or every month?

my celcom bill if pay via celcom online customer portal can claim 50 sms.

Paid over RM400 consider eligible already? Or need more?

The promo rebate capping is RM20. if you pay more, the maximum rebate is still RM20. so rm400 would be the max you want to pay to maximize the promo rebate
*
Thanks. I got cha.
Hopefully to get the RM20 straight for everymonth.
RM50+20, that's a lot.

Since when?
Did you mistaken this with something else?
OCBC Ti's requirement is 36k per annum.
*
36k only.
they will check your CCRIS. If you are holding just one CC, then high chance to get.
Subject to a lot matters, eg: car loan, housing loan, personal loan, business loan, over 2 existing credit cards, and etc.

If you are in entry level, basic RM3k proven at EPF. Applying for the First credit card ever, for sure they will give you.

It's like you buying the first house, your housing loan sure approve.

But for my case when i apply this card i have 3 credit cards, 1 car loan, 2 housing loan and my payslip just RM3.5k, ofcoz my CCRIS was clean and never late payment before.

Yesterday just help my wife to summit her application see can get or not since my wife have OCBC saving and FD account.
*
Then you are considered lucky! Maybe your CCRIS is clean. Or maybe your company is a well known company and they know you could secure the job.

just to inform, you wont gain anything once the rm50 cap is reached so no point to have high CL for this card (apart from the 10k fro RM50). unless of course you really need that CL to purchase something.
*
agree, this card is useless when u used over 1k.
need proper tracking for usage tho. anything over 1k is not rewarding from OCBC.
need to remember to statement date and dont use it after over 1k.

Wonder how come some of you guys finding hard in getting one.

OCBC is very generous to give this titanium card to professional body, like Lawyer, Auditor, Doctors.

I am the card owner since last year.

Last month, I helped my sis to put in her name and contact on OCBC webpage, within 2 weeks she received her cards.

Indeed this one of the best cards for the first RM1000 expenditure in a month.

Added on November 12, 2012, 2:16 pmMay I know when will the extra RM20 cash back on telco bill payment's reimbursement be made?

I paid consequently every month. Didnt get also.. =.=

2X Oct 2012 Payment with Thanks-Giro 0.00 -1,1X9.00
