Does OCBC waive the RM50 GST for new cardmembers? Their call center doesn't know, and asked me to refer to their sales agents...

What I heard a few months ago, is that RM50 only waived at selected roadshows, eg. The Curve. Other roadshows and online/telemarketing isn't waived. Anyone can confirm this?

I agree with you, i never had my credit card application rejected. This is first time for me!

I applied at OCBC branch. Annual income few times above the min 36k, given  EPF, BE Form, EA form and got rejected!.
Few years ago i got OCBC cc but  i didnt use much and i cancelled it. Could that be the reason?
Any idea how i can go about getting this much sought after credit card? Appeal ? Reapply with another person-------> then_then? can?

Standard chartered card so easy to get, got money come with it somemore!! On top of that i had also cancelled SC card before still can get easily.
Disappointed with this OCBC not keen to get customer attitude.......

OCBC Titanium credit card approval Department deserve a BIG GRAMMY award!!!!!!!! for being too good in doing their job........not for the bank but for some fun?

But today i received a call from the OCBC said my card is approved already!

COnclusion is OCBC simply reject but when review again you will get the card.

I dont think any bank ban customer if you are clean and not blacklisted, cancelling card is very common now.

if everymonth also claim full..perhaps u shud get another card, and calculate and keep track, once u got rm50 rebate from ocbc, use another card to swipe instead and get pts/rebate...

that is...IF you are not too lazy to keep track
