Typically banks won't let u know the basis for your rejection, cos they don't want u find "ways" to get pass their eligibilty tests

OCBC has their internal check . it is different with other bank. so if other banks approve u , it doesnt mean ocbc will approve u although ur qualification is good.

Pay via My@MPSJ Online portal will get 5% creditted in next year's assessment bill (Jan-Jun 2013)
But may get 1% from OCBC Titanium MasterCard, since the MCC may not set as Utilities.

p.s. I would pay via Maybankard2 AMEX to earn 5% + 5X TreatsPoints, at the counter

What if pay through ocbc online banking? Is it under utilities ? how many % rebate can I get via ocbc online?

Just to share, my first application was unsuccessful, but I called to the bank personnel who received my application to check for the reason. Surprisingly, i missed out the utility bills, just to prove the residential address. After i resubmitted the utility bills, i got the card within a week.

OCBC is very professional in serving customer. smile.gif

Thanks.
I paid TM bill using the internet banking using my OCBC Titanium card, in July. It's not auto-debit. But I do not see this additional 5% in my statement. I only see the normal 5% rebate being given to me. Does anybody know when the additional 5% rebate will be given to the cardholder?

Did you mean the extra 5% rebate if u pay telco with ocbc online?

Sigh....  U guys got read t&c or not?

Rebates will be credited as a single payment into customers’ account (OCBC Credit Card, Current or Savings account) by 30 November 2012.

I had an OCBC account before my OCBC titanium approve. Hence my July account I pay through Savings Account.

Now for month of August, I received my OCBC titanium. If I use my CC, can I still received this promotion? Thanks.

i'm pretty sure u still get it if u pay by ocbc titanium now....

anyway, u dun have anything to lose...

pay by saving acc --> 5% for this promo, u'll only get it by nov

pay by ocbc titanium ---> instant monthly 5% rebate (u already break even) + the 5% u get from this promo..

however, the bonus additional 5% u get for sept bill (if u pay both july and august), that one u might not get....
