QUOTE(squarefight @ Jun 3 2012, 03:49 AM) Update it. One problem that already confirmed is the RAM which reduced to 687MB. However, I never use the RAM space until 600MB++. So, if you are same with me. Go for it.After I update to ICS. I was happy like heaven, because for G version, all aminations have became SMOOTH a lot. Still don't know why some users such as ktyz said it will be more lag. Trust me. Go for it. ICS is the last update we have... |

I would like to say that, for those who abandoned SII and changed to SIII, they are too rich.
Just played SIII around at Lowyat yesterday. Honestly, I felt the experience is nearly the same. Although it have quad core, better screen, S voice, etc... , but it really does not change a lot compare to the ICS version of SII. I asked myself if those new features is useful for me. Finally I felt totally satisfied with my SII. Will use it for 2-3 years more. Overall, I want to say, SII is the most worthy phone to buy now. Hope you guys can support this thread continuously. Edit: My phone is still a virgin. This post has been edited by ZRong223: Jun 3 2012, 11:42 AM |

QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Jun 3 2012, 11:32 AM) after upgrade ICS for G really lag.. loading r longer when u open the application setting.. apps also loading v slowly.. but now real steel able 2 play.. got pro & cons.. What apps? For example? I want to try to test for you. Recently I never met any errors, no force close, no lags (except for Temple Run). In opposite, some apps like ESPN Scorecenter becomes smoother, although the FC issue STILL exists (this is the app itself d problem after the app's latest update.) QUOTE(mtxx @ Jun 3 2012, 11:43 AM) agree. Care. I heard that there is also some issues on ASUS transformer. Better you check it out first.i have phone & tablet. phone S2 is great. no urge want to upgrade it or change new one at all. but tab10.1 so lausy, slow and laggy. any slightly 3D games runs in slow motion. generally every apps loads slower than S2. at times i feel like throwing it away, also, sometimes it hangs. strange is, both also made by samsung. love one, hate the other one. if got 2K cash drop from sky, i will straight go buy asus transformer. wont think of S3 at all. However actually. I am a fan of ASUS because of its PC. Laptops and PC hardware. They are really excellent in these. Not sure about tablet PC though... I say, wait for a dual or quad core of tablet. You won't regret. Hope Google will release its own tablet in the future. Google Nexus SuperTab. Lol~~ This post has been edited by ZRong223: Jun 3 2012, 11:59 AM |

QUOTE(sunnyboy @ Jun 3 2012, 11:58 AM) asus prime is a quadcore.....me also in dillema, same 2k, get asus prime or s3? Really? I didn't realise that lol.already got a tab 10.1...but the respond sux compare to s2.... Then the two best choice for you: 1. Use TAB until it spoil, or sell it. Then go for ASUS. 2. Wait, wait and WAIT! You cannot imagine what Tablet will be released in the future and how more powerful it is. You have SII right? Use it. Remember you won't get tablet experience on SIII. It is still a smartphone. Can't wait? Go for ASUS. These is only ny opinion. Don't know your recent situation though. This post has been edited by ZRong223: Jun 3 2012, 12:09 PM |

Doesn't wildcat put the screen capture method at FAQ section?
Edit: No. He should add it. This post has been edited by ZRong223: Jun 3 2012, 05:08 PM |

This thread partly explains why RAM for G version is gone. In simple way, those RAM is used for: Amination Performance Additional System Processes The big problem is, why GALAXY NEXUS has 1GB when although it has same chipset to G version of Galaxy SII? |
