That is because it needs to download the dbdata.db when it is ran for the first time. That dbdata.db contains all the product codes for all of Samsung's Android and Bada phones.

If you're worried, you can use MyBackup (it's a trial version but you don't need root to use it) or Titanium Backup (need root).
