Anyone bought the SF V from nuuvem? Saw the link in previous post and very tempted to buy it. Will it be region locked? Read nuuvem has soft locks and hard locks.

I'm new in Street fighter and bought the razer atrox stick. Still training and getting used to the movements. Some comes naturally, some don't.
However, I'm having a lot problems producing CA (ie for Ryu) when my character is facing the right (character standing on left side of screen). When facing left, it comes out 8 out of 10. Any tips on how I can improve my double QCF movements when facing the right? Hadoken is no problem whichever way I'm facing. I'm holding the stick between my pinky and ring finger. Will changing to a square gate help? |

Thanks
Guess I'll just have to keep going at it. When in training, I can imagine the movements and do it, but when I go online... Everything goes out the window and i become a button masher |

Hmm..I always thought combos are the way to go, and I've been beating myself with it, trying to link the movements and thinking CA is the main part (cause youtube combo videos shows it like that) I do feel that I lack in knowing my characters' normals and the distance and spacing.

Using Ryu, finally able to combo c.mk to fireball. Haha I feel so happy.
Is there a short cut to do DP to CA? I normally do df,df punch for DP. Still learning the stick. |

Went online to play for the first time ever in my life playing street fighter. So addictive!!
second match was against Nash, and he/she perfet KOed me in just a few seconds Is there anyway out when I'm getting pressured? I got crossed up a few times but mainly when every time i'm down, he kept coming at my face, then jump light punch and start his combos non stop, and if i block, I get thrown. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. |

QUOTE(terryforever @ Feb 26 2016, 11:34 AM) PLaying FTG no shortcut, Thanks for the tip.u need to learn from the lesson (lose), every game u need to think like this, even u win or lose, u must remember y u lose, dun keep thinking that u use this character must 100% win. Then u need to know why u lose, how u lose, then go training or find answer, how u lose that skill, should i block? should i counter? Learning when to block n attack, know the timing of that skill n opponent's. Learn how to break throw, this was easy in SF4, now hard, so u must guess right. Let say u being throw for once, then u know he will do it again, just watch out for it. U finger always ready to break throw. Learn my fren, this is what we do in FTG. VS experience also must have, if not like u say, u block get throw, bcoz your opponent know u will block after he attack u few time, so he play some mind game wit u. n try to play with ppl around here, gain some exp on them. Ya, I'm still learning and even losing now doesn't feel so heart wrenching. I learn to appreciate how the other player did better and how i can improve. Saying that though, I won my first fight with an arcade stick! Woohoo! Hopefully can catch up with you guys one day.......... |

QUOTE(sniperz @ Mar 1 2016, 01:15 PM) Losing streak earlier morning for me. I fought a Brazil player and almost impossible to win despite opponent is weaker with EXTREME LAG!!! Experienced this yesterday. Player was weaker but the lag was horrible and he won cause he timed all his moves with the lag very well. hahah.. |

I am having difficulty when getting pressured on waking up. My game is improving slowly, but my huge weakness now is when i get knocked down, and the opponent is upon me, I panic and don't know what to do because I don't know any strategies of what to do.
What do you guys do when you get knocked down? |
