Not true. Reached super bronze last night and fought with a bronze and rookie on my first two matches. Felt like I'm bullying those poor kids.

Gaining points and losing points is very harsh in this game, i lost to a pro which only has 500LP and i lost 90 points cry.gif

now still ok. gain 60+, lose 25+......hahaha if gain 50 and lose 50, i think my point will be forever 0  laugh.gif
and i like how they upgrade/downgrade your league accordingly to your point.

Yesterday played 2 hours just to get to Ultra bronze, and i was only 25 points away when I first started!
Lost alot of random Necalli and Karin, have to win 3 games just to compensate each lost game @_@

I think i will drop Nash as my main and go for Ryu instead, after using Nash againts various opponents there is limitation to his combos, and his hit confirms are not very good. Ryu suit my style better...

Some people use Nash like a beast. It depends on your preference and skills limit.
*
Its actually not that, the players that knows Nash skills and tricks will block everything, plus i hate Nash's normal anti air as there is a very strict timing or else it will trade. My worst match up is Necalli because his special and pass through the sonic boom and hit Nash at full screen. Nash wake up option is pretty bad also cause he does not has any invincible moves on get up, After trying Ryu for few hours I find that his hit confirms are much better and his anti air are miles better then Nash.

Lost 300 PP points yesterday when i lost around 10 games which puts me down on a new low for Nash cry.gif

Yeah. I agree so you can change to a character that's more unpredictable. But I admit you can go back to Nash when your ready again to make it better.
*
Exactly..... Nash combos are very predictable and you can block all of it once you gotten use to it, none of his Special EX has overhead properties and his normal that cancels into sonic booms suck cause they travel so slow and it will not link.
Karin is much better at this cause her specials is either a low or high attack, which you need to guess. I use to think Bison was strong but once you got him figure out, you can block almost all his moves.

Thanks for the tip.

Ya, I'm still learning and even losing now doesn't feel so heart wrenching.
I learn to appreciate how the other player did better and how i can improve.

Saying that though, I won my first fight with an arcade stick!  Woohoo!
Hopefully can catch up with you guys one day..........

Losing is one the thing, but you need to be discipline and not give up, like how people quit qym after the first day of workout. But now ftg is easier to learn because of the Internet, i suggest to look at thise videos and copy their setups. After once your already good enough add your own flavor to your setup aand make it yours

Rank matches really turning me off right now, some matches I am getting frame skipping but my opponent is executing all combos on me. It seems that the lag only affects 1 sided, I lost most of my points to this type of matches and after lost my focus.

Since Monday can't even connect to the server properly, now I am missing the casual contents from SFIV like Arcade and Versus CPU mode. Literally if your not able to connect to the servers you can't play shit in this game, so that doesn't warrant the 60$ price tag

For affordable price for brand new, I highly recommend the QANBA RAF4, can play on pS4 and on PC with no issues.
