guys !!! I think you guys should give the new Google Pinyin ime a test even if u don't uses Chinese .
The English keyboard included is even better than the 1 that comes stock with ICS. It now includes swipe up capitalize and swipe down to use alternate character! So basically, capitalization, punctuation and numbers are now reachable faster than before :-D If you have used touchpal before , its something like that . |

Just hide it and use lmt to navigate Other options like button saviour and wave launcher might also fit your requirement  |
