have you tried putting the card>>adaptor>>card reader>>your computer? Then try to copy some files from the computer to the card. Format it first with FAT32, if required. Or testing format with NTFS, whatever, just to make sure it is the card problem, not your Note problem.

Mine will be arriving soon too. Btw, where did you got yours? and how much?

Glas.t user here. Not sure how the xGlas compares to it, but I can safely say the Glas.t is a great protector that makes my phone feel like beast it is. But get a professional to apply it for you, it's really a big investment.

I would suggest trying out the xGlas first to see how it fares though. GLAS.T is a serious investment (RM140) compared to the cheaper xGlas.

xGlas is not that cheap compared to Glas.t.

I can assure you guys Glas.t is 99.99% scratch proof as i tried on my iphone4s but xglas should not be as scratch resistant as glas.t cause i am using similiar xglas materal from SKINXon my note, got a few hairline scratch already.
